Praha: Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague, 2012. 60 p. Thesis. The probably most populated Czech community in the world lives in Argentina. The relation of community members survived several ten years of political unconvenient atmosphere in making each other bindings. After come back of an old and new homeland to the democracy, the Czech spirit came alive again in Argentina. The life of compatriot community is becoming more and more varied and is powered by specific relation especially of elder community members to their memories about their childhood formed by national identity of their ancestors and their mother tongue. The community is trying to continue in active and well working associonational activity which started already more than 60 years ago. The Czech government supports these initiatives within considering of national culture heritage, besides other things delegating of a teacher of Czech language.
