Coordination of social security in the EU - indexation of family benefits in the Republic of Austria As a unique system of cooperation across the European territory, social security coordination is currently facing political and legal challenges, which culminated in the ongoing legal proceedings initiated by the European Commission as a plaintiff against one of the Member States, namely the Republic of Austria. The first part of this master thesis (chapters one and two) introduces the reader to the general characteristics of coordination, its principles and its anchoring in the EU law. Part two (chapters three to five) allows the reader to learn more about the issue of indexation of (coordinated) family benefits and its history in Europe. It looks in more detail at indexation in the Republic of Austria, specifically its journey from a political idea to an application practice that conflicts with the current EU coordination arrangements, in particular the principle of equal treatment. The first chapter deals with the historical development of the idea of social security coordination, an explanation of the concept, as well as the sources of EU and international law, their scope in this field and their interrelations. This thesis deals with the analysis of eating habits of seniors with Diabetes mellitus type 2. Many seniors with Diabetes mellitus type 2 are introduced to a proper diet either through their Doctor or a nutrition therapist. This diabetic diet assists them in maintaining proper blood glucose levels and helps prevent a variety of diabetic complications. Many diabetics, who understand their illness, begin to make changes in their lifestyles that will help them in the future. More thought is put into their lifestyle and how to improve their quality of life. For example, many diabetics become more active, begin to be more diligent with their dietary choices and discover a new meaning of life.
Findings of appearance of bad body posture of preschool children in Preschool in Horažďovice

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the frequent occurence of the faulty posture in preschoolchildren in the age group 5 - 7 in the Kindergarten School in Horažďovice. The work inculdes the theoretical and practical parts. The teoretical part inculdes the description of anatomy of muscular system and body movement (human kinetics), and typical deviations from peroper posture. Occurence of children with faulty posture is unfortunately a growing trend. The first traces of muscular dysbalances can be found already among preschool children. Faulty posture is a health problem which can result in serious consequences. It is important to prevent this problem already at preschool age. The practical part of my work inculdes the results of my study of the group of children with this particular problem. This is the aim of my work.
