The steel construction of an exhibition pavilion

The content of this bachelors thesis is design and appraisal of the steel construction of an exhibition pavilion. Ground plan dimensions are 39,2 x 50,0 m with approximate height 10,7m. The supporting system of the structure consists of planar transverse linkages which are created by lattice truss.The design is selected from two pre-solved geometrical and structural variants which are compered on the basis of the weight of structure and ultimate and serviceability limit state. From the selected variant is made detailed static assessment and drawing documentation.

Comparing the Valuation Procedure for Houses in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

The topic of the diploma thesis is a comparison of evaluation methods of family houses in the Czech and Slovak Republic, a legislation in relation to the evaluation in mentioned countries and a definition of particular terms: family house, value and price. There are basic methods of the evaluation of the immovable property used in Czech and Slovak Republic described in this thesis. The important part of the thesis is an analysis of the real estate market. On the basis of this analysis were chosen two comparable localities. Methods of the evaluation of the immovable property were applied on specific cases. Chosen family houses were valued at the common price, time price and ascertained price. The result of the diploma thesis is the comparison of evaluation methods used in the Czech and Slovak Republic.

The subject of this bachelor´s thesis is the problems of a catalog houses. The work consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines the various terms: budgets, prices and costs. There is a project of a family house that was worked-out of the basis of study from a catalog house. There is also a list budget. The output of the bachelor´s thesis is analysis of a problems of catalog houses, compare the prices of the catalog house with the price of an individual house.

Effect of seed treatment on the germination of different provenances of Dodonaea angustifolia; a recommendation for degraded land restoration through direct seeding

In Jara Jinesa nursery site in Ethiopia near Awassa city an experiment on germination rates of Dodonaea angustifolia was realized in 2015. To examine this rate, three different provenaces were evaluated for four different seed treatment methods and compared with control sample of untreated seeds. Hot water treatment at both time intervals prove significantly positive effect on seed germination. After this treatment seeds germination rate reached from 70 to 100 %. The positive effect of seeds soaking in cold water has not been recorded, in some cases even reduced germination over any untreated seed. Within 3 to 6 days of sowing, especially in warm water treated seeds, the number of germinated seeds increases steeply. The impact of provenance is evident especially in the various time span optimization, since each provenance is adapted to specific environmental conditions. Treating seeds with warm water before sowing increased the uniformity of seedlings, thereby increased the quality of seed production without significant technological equipment and financial costs

Návrh rozložení přibližovacích linek na základě fotogrammetrie v Thajsku

Suitable skidding trail layout is important in sustainable forestry system, thus can minimise the damages to trees and economical losses. In a cooperation between Mendel University in Brno and Kasetsart University in Bangkok a potential use of photogrammetry based skidding trail layout was evaluated. Certain plots of teak plantation in Thong Pha Phum were captured with and further processed in Agisoft Metashape software. On obtained orthophoto single trees were distinguished and understory trees for thinning from below were identified on Weighted Voronoi diagram base. On Kernel Density Estimation base a tree density estimation raster output were created. Considering irregular teak spacing a subjective approach for skidding trail layout design was applied, with emphasis to shorten skidding distances and reducing the possible damages to remaining trees and soils.
