Overnight Sleeping in the Large Landscape Protected Areas: The Relation Between Conservationist and Bivouacking Subject
Holubová, Anna ; Kuřík, Bohuslav (advisor) ; Peřina, Vlastimil (referee)
This thesis deals with the conflict of nature and the landscape protection with recreational use of nature. This conflict is examined in relation to "conservationist subject" and "bivouacking subject" in the context of ecogovernmentality, i.e. the shift of nature to the government sphere. The aim of this thesis is to introduce more of cosmology of nature protection, besides the dominant one - conservational, and to understand their relation. The thesis is divided into two parts - a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the theory of subjectivity and the concept of ecogovernmentality in the context of chosen ethnographic studies. The empirical part is dedicated to ethnographic research of bivouacking subjects. The results of the research are based on the comparison of data acquired from the ethnographic research with abstracted figures of "conservationist subject" - as defined by visitor rules of the protected areas and the law of nature and landscape protection and "bivouacking subject" - made by stays in nature or scout education. The result of this thesis is the discovery of similarity of both subjects, which in large extent overlap, however not completely. Bivouacking subjects get into conflict with tourists, against which they delimit themselves, rather than...
Preparation of ppHMDSO Thin Films in Capacitively Coupled RF Glow Discharges under Dusty Plasma Conditions
Homola, V. ; Buršíková, V. ; Kelar, L. ; Kelarová, Š. ; Stupavska, M. ; Peřina, Vratislav
The deposition of organosilicone thin films from mixture of hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) and oxygen by using capacitively coupled R.F. glow discharges under dusty plasma conditions was investigated. High resolution topography and mechanical property maps of the prepared films were acquired by using atomic force microscopy techniques. The chemical bond and composition of the deposited films were analyzed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The mechanical properties of the films were studied using quasistatic as well as dynamic nanoindentation tests and their surface free energies were evaluated by means of contact angle measuring technique using several testing liquids exhibiting various surface tensions. The thermal stability of the films was studied using thermal desorption spectroscopy. Neural network modelling was used to study the effect of plasma parameters on the hardness of ppHMDSO films

Study of mechanical properites of nanostructured polymer coatings prepared using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition
Buršíková, V. ; Homola, V. ; Peřina, Vratislav
The aim of the present work was to deposit transparent polymer SiOxCyHz protective coatings from hexamethyldisiloxane/ oxygen mixtures in capacitively coupled glow discharge. The coatings prepared under dusty plasma conditions showed nanocomposite character. Complex characterization of the local mechanical properties was carried out on the prepared samples from nano to microscale using indentation techniques. The coatings were very elastic, they exhibited high elastic recovery and low plastic deformation even at indentation depths approaching the coating thickness.
Comparison of nc-TiC/a-C:H coatings prepared by magnetron sputtering in well balanced and highly unbalanced magnetic field
Souček, P. ; Schmidtová, T. ; Zábranský, L. ; Buršíková, V. ; Vašina, P. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Peřina, V. ; Pei, Y. ; de Hosson, J. T. M.
nc-TiC/a-C:H coatings were prepared using a well balanced and highly unbalanced magnetron sputtering. Both series were found to shov similar trends in mechanical and tribological properties depending only on the carbon in the nc-TiC/a-C:H coatings.
Optimization of nanocomposite n-TiC/a-C:H coatings preparation and TEM study of coatings structure after deformation
Zábranský, L. ; Buršíková, V. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Vašina, P. ; Souček, P. ; Caha, O. ; Jílek, M. ; Peřina, V.
This work is aimed on the optimization of preparation of nanocomposite n-TiC/a-C:H coatings. Furthermore the deformation of inner structure was studied using TEM analysis of lamella prepared on dual-beam microscope using focused ion beam.
Studium mechanických vlastností gradovaných amorfních DLC povlaků deponovaných PECVD
Buršíková, V. ; Stoica, A. ; Sobota, Jaroslav ; Grossman, Jan ; Fořt, Tomáš ; Klapetek, P. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Peřina, Vratislav ; Bláhová, O.
For optimisation of performance of the coating there is necessary to optimise the following materials parameters: the elastic modulus, hardness, surface strength, film fracture toughness and film-substrate adhesion. We proposed to protect the substrate surface with graded coating, which has monotonically graded elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio.
Funkčnost amorfních uhlíkových povlaků s obsahem křemíku deponovaných použitím nízkotlaké PECVD
Sobota, Jaroslav ; Buršíková, V. ; Fořt, T. ; Grossman, Jan ; Klapetek, P. ; Buršík, Jiří ; Franta, D. ; Peřina, Vratislav
Amorphous carbon films with silicon content were deposited using low pressure PECVD. The films were optimised for deposition on steel substrates. To evaluate the impact resistance of graded amorphous carbon films in dynamic loading wear applications an impact test has been used.
