A design of new production technology of a specified part

This diploma thesis focuses on the design of new technology for the production of a given part by company Poppe + Potthoff s.r.o. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is a theoretical analysis of individual operations that are necessary for the production of the given part. The second part deals with the analysis of the current technological process of production. In the third part, a new technological process is proposed. In the end, there is a technical and economic evaluation performed, where both variants are compared.

Gear failures

This bachelor thesis is focused on gears. The first part of the thesis informs about the sorting of each type of gears. In the second part, there is a detailed overview of possible gears failures, including their causes, manifestation and their potential solutions for correction. The last part of the thesis handles technical experiment, which aims to performance of vibrodiagnostic of the gear system, tested on the test state. Measured data were subsequently processed by commercially accessible software, where the vibrations of transmission were recorded – firstly at the beginning of measuring when the gears were without damage and afterwards at the end of testing, when the state of damaged teeth was detected.
