The Significance of Sport for a Visually-Impaired Individual and its Influence on the Quality of Life

This diploma thesis deals with sport of people with visual impairment and tries to refer to significance of sport in their life. Theoretical part is engaged in definition of concepts quality of life, sport and visual impairment. It emphasizes positive influence of sport on quality of life of these individuals and acquaints us with various sports which people with visual handicap can practise. Further it sketches some difficulties and obstacles which these people have to overcome. The task of practical part is to show current situation in sphere of sport of young people with visual impairment and through the realised research informs us about the extent of participation of these persons in various sport activities.

Reporting of Bonds in Comercial Insurance Companies in the Czech Republic

My dissertation describes the issue of reporting bonds in insurance companies in the Czech Republic. It includes outlining of the legislation of commercial insurance companies, financial placement and issue bonds according to applicable legislation. The work focuses on the measurement and reporting of bonds in insurance companies under the Czech legislation and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. The practical part of my dissertation compares the reporting of bonds in insurance companies according to the Czech accounting legislation and in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and compares the information of bonds and financial placement disclosed (displayed) in the individual financial statements of the Czech, Polish and German insurance companies.

The provisions issue in the Czech Republic

The bachelor thesis deals with the provisions issue in the Czech Republic. First it deals with the provisions in accordance with Czech legislation, including tax laws, and further discusses the various types of provisions. Then it focuses on provisions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards and compares them with Czech legislation. Individual chapters are supplemented with illustrative examples. The thesis is finished with a practical demonstration made up of provisions in the Czech company specific.
