Nová, Iveta ; Trojan, Václav (advisor) ; Trunda, Jiří (referee)
The final thesis deals with the topic of sequential managerial functions performed by the chief executive of a children's camp. It is based on the assumption that the head chief performs all managerial functions in the preparation and implementation of the action sequence. On the basis of the specific literature read, the theoretical part characterizes each sequence functions - planning, organization, personnel and control. It specifies the children's summer camp as a child's recovery time period and clarifies the rules for the organization, including legal aspects. It also assigns specific jobs for the head chief of the camp before and during camp for each sequential management functions. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey among the main leaders of the childrens' camps, for who are graduates of the course qualifying for the specific position. Analysis of the results showed that the head chief, regardless of the childrens' camp's operator, perform all the sequential management functions at least half of these activities. The highest rate was found at activities carried out by the main leaders, who work all year round as educator of a free time, and are employed in the Youth Centre or in The Leisure Time Centre. Nová, Iveta ; Trojan, Václav (advisor) ; Dvořáková, Miroslava (referee)
The Master's Thesis focuses on pedagogical and managerial tasks of children camps' main leader. The aim is to define these tasks and to analyse the position's official formal characteristics - professional qualification and experience - for camps organized by bodies that are not leisure time educational centres. The assumption here is that mostly the head chiefs do not hold professional qualification as there is no legal obligation. The Theory uses comparative method to classify camps as leisure time educative activity. Further, the history and legal and practical conditions of the camps are described. Pedagogical and managerial tasks of the head chiefs are explained together with desirable competences. Possible ways of gaining the professional qualification are presented. In the Research part the above stated assumption was supposed to be confirmed or rejected through a questionnaire and additional guided interviews. 103 respondents of the research were head chiefs of children camps organized in 2016 in South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic. Results' analysis rejected the stated assumption. It was proved that a greater-than-expected number of the camps' head chiefs are professionally qualified. At least 50 % of the respondents have the necessary pedagogical qualification together with suitable...

Nicotinism as a predisposition to the use of illegal addictive substances.
NOVÁ, Iveta
Nicotinism as a predisposition to the use of illegal addictive substances Bachelor Dissertation Abstract The goal of my Bachelor Dissertation is to map out and analyze how tobacco products and other addictive substances are used, to determine the dependence between the use of nicotine and other addictive substances and to identify the risk factors which lead to the use of these substances in the population of basic school pupils. In the theoretical part I address the concept of tobacco, its composition, dependence and the consequences of its use. I then describe the term drug addiction, its origin, development and stages. In the conclusion I characterise the period of adolescence and the risk factors and differences concerning addictive substances which are connected with it. To meet the set goals, quantitative research was chosen, a method of questioning, using anonymous questionnaires, which were employed to define pupils' experience with tobacco and other addictive drugs. Data was collected from the 9th years of basic shools and from the corresponding years of 8-year grammar schools. For the research, two assumed hypotheses were designated and opened. Hypothesis 1: The users of tobacco products have more extensive experience with illegal addictive substances than non-users of tobacco products. This hypothesis was verified. Hypothesis 2: Girls use more tobacco products than boys. This hypothesis was also verified. The results of my Bachelor Dissertation can be used for educational purposes, as part of preventive activity in educational institutions and for making this more effective, for further research and also as material for improving awareness of this issue.
