74 Abstract The international legal regulation of civil aspects related to wrongful removals of children The purpose of my thesis is to analyse international documents related to wrongful removal of children. The reason for my research is that the number of wrongful removals of children is increasing and therefore it is necessary to govern their solutions with a strong international rule of law, main purpose of which is to protect the welfare of minor children. This thesis is composed of five chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of subject matter. Chapter One explains in general terms of international abduction of children or the wrongful removal of children. Chapter Two deals with the main documents that govern disputes, arising out of international abductions of children, in 69 countries all around the world. It is Hague Convention of 25 October 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. This chapter consists of the history of Convention's creation, it's subject, purpose and terminology, together with an analysis of every provision of Convention.
