Care of foreign players in Czech basketball

Title: Care of foreign players in Czech basketball Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the difference in care for foreign players at selected clubs of the Kooperativa NBL. Methods: A qualitative research method of personal interviews is used in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The respondents are foreign players playing for Czech teams and also the management of the club. Interviewing took place in March 2019. In total 15 interviews were conducted. Results: The outcomes of the research are processed by comparative analysis in the fifth chapter of this work. According to the results the care of foreign players differs mainly in access to foreign reinforcements. The majority of players confirmed that the terms of the contract are being respected. We have noticed that the teams in the first half of the table tend to choose experienced players while the bottom for financial reasons elects rookies.
