The work is one of the possible sites of urban design library. This proposal includes a landscape design and construction. Solution design and construction are governed by the given program, plot size and the actual place in the urban environment in relation to its surroundings. The library is designed in the territory where the paved parking lot is now and archaeological discovery of the foundations of the chapel of the 16th century. The reasons for the location of the town library just in this area are: the requirement of the city, poor areas and fragmentation of existing buildings, libraries, poor state of the area and good location due to the city, lies near the historical center, in the resting zone and adjacent to the river and the green surroundings.

Větvení obloukového kanálu ve vnějším magnetickém poli

An electric arc burning in mercury vapours exposed to external magnetic field changes its discharge path into a helix according to the Thomson principle of energy minimization. The voltage between the adjacent turns of the helix curvature may result in the critical electric field strenght in the vicinity of the arc channel, that leads to the branching and formation of a new discharge path acting as a turn-to-turn short. We have been interested in the electric field profile and surrounding parameters at the moment of branching, the speed of a new channel warming, temporal evolution of the restoration of a regular spiral channel, development of the arc current and distribution of the voltage between the series resistor and arc channel during the breakdown.

Implementace Business Intelligence v malé společnosti působící v sektoru vzdělávání

Cílem diplomové práce bylo navrhnout model metrik vhodný k řízení malé společnosti a následně demonstrovat jeho praktické využití při řízení společnosti za pomocí běžně dostupných informačních technologií. Na základě studia dostupné literatury byl jako model strategického řízení společnosti vybrán model Balanced Scorecard. V rámci tohoto modelu byla nejdříve definována mise a vize školy. Dále byly stanoveny strategické cíle a na ně navazující metriky. Dílčím cílem bylo pro vybrané metriky demonstrovat jejich praktické využití při řízení společnosti. Bylo navrženo technologické řešení respektující možnosti malých společností. Konečným výstupem praktické části této práce pak byla demonstrace využití BI k podpoře strategického řízení a rozhodování.
