Design of expedition warehouse

This bachelor thesis concerns a project of streamlining and improving conditions in current expedition warehouse. Theoretical part defines basic terms of storage and supply management. In analytical part storage capacity is calculated and warehouse is analyzed in detail by method of Lean Management and other well selected methods. Appropriate and feasible solutions are suggested based on the analytical part. These solutions are compared and their values are evaluated at the end of the thesis.

Possible Applications of Quantitative Methods on Modern Chinese and Modern Chinese Texts

Research done using the methods of quantitative linguistics has been rather scarce in its application on Chinese so far. This thesis, therefore, focuses on chosen topics and tests various linguistic experiments on two stylistically different corpora written in modern Chinese, while emphasizing stylistic differences on respective places. First, a basic quantification of the two corpora is presented, including average lengths of selected language units, type-token ratio and, in addition, several Chinese-specific indices are introduced. The thesis further discusses frequency statistics of various language level as well as the frequency distribution of tones in both corpora. The following part is concerned with the Zipf's law, hence concluding the first set of topics. The last part deals with linear structures of a text, based primarily on the research done by Luděk Hřebíček. This section explores the idea of text symmetry, according to which a text is organized by the Menzerath-Altmann Law not only when it comes to relations between a construct and its constituents on all language levels, but also in its sequential form. Communication strategy for exact range of products of company Greiner in category of fast-moving consumer goods

In first part of my thesis, I introduced basic theories of marketing, which is marketing mix, SWOT analysis, then communication strategies, definition of ATL and BTL communication activities, definition of variety of commerce communications and their description. In practical part of my thesis I introduce the company itself, its history, rules and activities in Czech Republic. Then I attached a chapter about field investigation, its results and total summary of the investigation. At the end of my thesis I recommend a few improvements to get commerce strategy of GP Slušovice better.
