Rudolf Matúš: Furniture seating element with the use lamellar or shaped plywood elements. The main focus of this bachelor thesis is the design and production of a seating element according to the assignment. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theory, topic of sesating, introduction to the materials used, furniture joints, surface finishes, ergonomics, etc. After the completion of the theoretical part, the practical part follows, which summarizes the theoretical information from the introduction of the thesis and is supplemented by testing the prototype for strength and stability.
Cyprus in a new security environment

Diploma thesis "Cyprus in a New Security Environment" deals with security perception in The Republic of Cyprus in the aftermath of the Cold War. It brings a closer look at the new security patterns that developed after the fall of the Iron curtain and introduces the typology of states in international relations, security sectors and the threats associated as well as referent objects of security in the post-Cold War setting. Cyprus, its history, current political and economic situation provides the basis of the study for categorization of Cyprus on the basis of Srensen's typology and Copenhagen school's view of security studies. Thesis classifies Cyprus as a specific example of country with outward features and security dilemma of the postmodern state. However it is rather difficult to categorize it in Srensen's typology of states because of unresolved dispute and its impact on Cyprus' security environment. Copenhagen school provides a framework for examination of Cyprus security environment in accordance with five security sectors (military, political, societal, economic, environmental) and the thesis finds the conclusion that island is threatened in each security sector portrayed. Cyprus dispute - current challenges

Master's diploma thesis Cyprus dispute -- current challenges deals with the current political situation in Cyprus and bi-communal talks between divided Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot entity living on the island. Negotiations are conducted under the auspices of external actors, and under the influence of the parties interested in the conflict, and the primary responsibility has been assumed by the political representation of the Republic of Cyprus and TRNC. Thesis introduces alternatives of the conflict settlement, perspectives of the potential development of events in the unification process and their possible impacts on the Cypriot environment. It presents the most signifiant plans of the international community on the political settlement of the island and reaching the agreement in the chronological order from the end of the World War Two up to the current solutions based on the actual tendencies of development. These suggestions have been conceived on the basis of the international political context and intra-political situation in Cyprus in the time period of anti-colonial struggle leading to the establishment of the Republic of Cyprus, Constitution collapse, outbreak of violence, Turkish invasion, declaration of independence of the Turkish Republic of the Northern Cyprus, accession of the Republic of Cyprus to the EU up to the presence.
