Children's Rights and Welfare Officers as Guardian of Minors in Court Proceedings

The present bachelor's degree thesis focuses on the role of children's rights and welfare officers as court- appointed guardians of minors for the purposes of court proceedings. The thesis is based on theoretical knowledge gained from publications and laws, hands-on experience acquired serving as a guardian ad litem as well as information provided by guardianship judges. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether a court-appointed guardian may actually protect the best interests and well-being of a child. In the first part of the thesis, the author takes a look back at the history of guardianship in the Czech Republic while considering the nature of "the best interests and well-being" of the child and outlining the future of the guardian within the framework of the protection of children's rights, legitimate interests and social needs. The main focus of the thesis is the delimiting of the role of a guardian from the comparative perspective of law and practice, the importance of co-operation between the court and the guardian, the guardian's position in a court proceeding and the steps and acts before the court. This graduation thesis deals with the distraint by selling a real estate in the Czech legal system. The matter of execution (distraint) is regulated in the Czech Republic by two key Acts: Act No. 99/ 1963 Coll. and Act No. 120/2001 Coll.. This graduation thesis discusses the distraint regulated by the Act No. 120/2001 Coll. - the distraint carried out by the executors. The sale of a real estate in the distraint is one of the most difficult manners of execution. It is mainly because of its time-demanding nature and a plenty of various process conditions that have to be fulfilled. Also the number of legal remedies that can be interposed during the distraint proceedings is the reason, why this manner of distraint is one of the most effective and one of the most challenging at the same time. The distraint by selling a real estate is very usefull especially when a bigger sum of money is being executed. It is because of the real estate value. Other manners of distraint wouldn't be so effective while executing a large debt. Bachelor thesis deals with the perceived quality of products of tourism purchased on daily deals website issue. The main aim is to evaluate perceived quality and subsequently to compare with the perceived quality of the product of tourism purchased at tour operators or travel agencies. In terms of outcomes from the survey, which attempt 221 respondents from the Slovak and Czech republics, were identified most frequent negatives and positives connected with purchase on daily deal websites and tour operators and travel agencies. And a follow - up comparison negotiating about impacts of negatives on the willingness to repeat purchase on daily deal websites and at tour operator and travel agency.

Malíková, Z. The quality system of services in tourism in Slovakia. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. Diploma thesis deals with the national quality system of services in tourism in Slovakia. The main aim is to evaluate the awareness of consumers and service providers about the SSKS in tourism. Secondary aims of this thesis include the identification of the impact of certification on purchases and sales of services, and a comparison with the analogous system of the quality of services in tourism in the Czech Republic. In terms of outcomes from the survey, in which were collected 501 valid answers, were evaluated factors, which are the most common for consumers to consider in the process of decision making considering services in tourism. At the closure of the thesis are stated recommendations for the Ministry of Transport and construction of the Slovak Republic, which are based on the results of the survey.
