Statistical analysis of tourism in South Moravia

The aim of this thesis is to use mathematical and statistical methods to analyze data relating to visitors of the South Moravia region. Data was collected via survey, which could participate respondents living in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part presents the basic concepts related to the theme of the thesis, such as tourism, visitors, tourists, excursionist and more. The thesis also includes the categorization of tourism from various perspectives, examples of organizations involved in tourism and especially familiarization with specific tourism destinations in the region. The practical part consists of an analysis of data collected and processed by the author. Furthermore, this section presents the results of a survey carried out by the author, who focused on attendance of the South Moravia region, the attractiveness of the region, most visited sites and financial possibilities of visitors of the region.

Internet and its use in the households

The thesis describes the history of the internet, its development and the main
functions this network offers. In addition to the description, it will also analyse the main
technologies by which users get connected to the worldwide network. It will also gather
information about the leading providers of internet in Czech Republic.
The analytical part touches on all aspects of the system from a static point of view.
Firstly, identifying the regular Czech home network users which are dependent
on the computer and internet equipment, and secondly, underlining the most widely used
internet providers. The next important part of the thesis analyses the growth and extension
of all operations done on internet itself. It puts all users on a scale to compare major fields
for which that internet is used.

Statistical analysis of unemployment in Kutná Hora District and its expected future development

This thesis deals with statistical analysis of unemployment in the region of Kutna Hora. Work will focus on job opportunities and on the structure of the candidates on the demand side in terms of gender, age and level of educational attainment. It also includes candidates from risk groups, graduates and disadvantaged. Statistical methods will evaluate seasonality in unemployment and quantified trends selected indicators. The result will be a formulation of recommendations for reducing unemployment in the region. The underlying data will be processed using the methods of analysis of time series based on the collection of data available in the databases of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the Czech Statistical Office and the Labour Office in Kutna Hora.

An analysis of tourism development in the Bohemian Paradise and its prospects

This Bachelor thesis deals with an analysis of tourism in the Bohemian Paradise
based on selected indicators. Theoretical basis of the thesis provide the information
about the definition, subjects and typology of tourism. Furthemore, the services of tourism and the relationship between tourism and national economy and regional development
are characterized here. Subsequently, there is a closer introduction of a touristic region Bohemian Paradise and selected sights (ruins of the castle Trosky, the watchtower Kozákov and the Museum Škoda Auto). The practical part of the work, via the analysis
of time series, deals with the number of guests in collective accommodation establishments, number of nights spent in these establishments in 2005-2014
and the assessment of prognosis of the future development until 2018. Furthemore,
this part is dedicated to the analysis of the attendance of four selected touristic attractions in 2008-2015. Based on these results, at the end of the thesis there are presented
the most important factors influencing the development of tourism in the Bohemian Paradise together with proposals and recommendation for improving the current situation.

An analysis of tourism development in Pardubický Region and its prospects

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the development of tourism in the Pardubice Region from 2004 to 2014 using statistical methods. Analyzes traffic in collective accommodation establishments, development of capacities in collective accommodation establishments, number of nights spent in collective accommodation establishments. Further statistical methods evaluated traffic analysis of selected tourist destinations: Litomyšl Chateau, State Kunětická Castle Mountain, State chateau Slatiňany, Litice castle). In this work are formulated proposals and recommendations for the promotion of tourism in the Pardubice region. The data were drawn from the Czech Statistical Office and the National Information and Consulting Centre for Culture.

Analysis of vehicle insurance market in the Czech Republic and its long-term trends

The aim of this work is to compare the development of the insurance market in the Czech Republic for the period 2000 - 2014 for the emergency vehicle insurance and liability insurance. The theoretical part will focus on the brief history of the insurance industry, the characteristics of insurance principles and definitions, focusing on vehicle insurance. In the second part will be analyzed the development of the insurance market, respectively, written premiums in accident insurance and compulsory insurance for the period 2000 - 2014 in the Czech Republic, its trend and determine the three largest insurers. The final part will be devoted to statistical analysis of indicators of the three largest insurers in 2014. A comparison of product liability and accident insurance of the biggest players in the market

Analysis of the level of social care services for the elderly in the Usti region and their possibilities for development

This bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of the quality of senior care social service in the Ústí n.L. region. It is devided into six chapters. First four of them are dedicated to the theoretical outline of the above mentioned issue, the typology of senior social service and the characteristics of the Ústí n. L. region. The fifth chapter consists of the analysis of the demographic development of the region compared to the data collected from all over the country. Futher on other indicators demonstrating the quality of social service are analysed as well. Sugestions and recommendation have been proposed based on the results of the investigation. All facts dealing with the analysed issue are summerised in the conclusion of this work.

Analysis of demographic development of the Pardubice reion and its perspectives

Objectives of my bachelor thesis will be map and compare the demographic development among the four districts of Pardubice region for the period 2000 - 2014. In the theoretical part, at first I would like give information what is the demography mean and how demography has evolvedd from its beginnings. Afterwards I introduced the demographic phenomena and proceses, and outlined some of the ways of collecting dates. Finally, I would like enumerate and describe statistical methods which uses demography. In the practical part I will concentrate on a separate analysis of four districts of Pardubice region.

Statistical comparison of unemployment Pardubice Region with focus on graduates

This Bachelor´s thesis deals with the comparison of unemployment rates in individual districts of Pardubice Region, focusing on graduates in the years 2011 - 2015. The theoretical part deals with the problems of unemployment and issues related to it. In the practical part first there is an analysis of the development of the percentage indicator of unemployed persons in Pardubice region compared to the Czech Republic, and then this indicator is compared within different districts of the region. Further attention is paid to the analysis of unemployment according to the development of the number of the candidates, vacancies and education. From these viewpoints the situation in high-risk groups of unemployed graduates is investigated. Consequently the same situation is analyzed using the indicator of the rate of unemployment. Finally, seasonality and its impact on the unemployment rate in Pardubice region and its districts and predicted future developments for the year 2016 are determined. Methods from the field of time series were applied to asess the underlying data. The results were used to formulate recommendations and possible solutions to improve the unemployment situation in Pardubice region as well as for better enforcement of the graduates in the labour market.
