Nursing Care for Patients with Tracheostomy

The thesis is focused on nursing care of patients with tracheostomy. The work consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical. This section is devoted to anatomy and physiology of the respiratory tract, additional chapters devoted itself already the main topic and that is tracheostomy. The implementation presented here tracheostomy history, engineering design, types of procedures, types of cannulas tracheostomických, indications for the performance and possible complications. Another big part of the total nursing is where nursing care is devoted to a patient with tracheostomy and care of respiratory toilet, replacing the tracheostomy cannula and decanting. Then there is included a chapter on communication with the patient and possible alternative ways of communication and nursing diagnosis. The empirical part focuses on qualitative research, the method of data collection are two case reports of nursing. The survey was conducted at the clinic anesthesia, resuscitation and intensive care in two patients with tracheostomy. The aim of the research was to find out how the nursing care of patients with tracheostomy, method of communication with tracheostomy patients and to determine their nursing problems. The nurse's role in patient care elimination methods

The aim of thesis was to map the care of nurses and paramedics for patients on continuous renal replecemant therapy. Find out what nurses/paramedics have difficulty taking care of the patients and what would have welcomed into practice to improve care. The theoretical part focuses on the description of the method of elimination, nursing care and competence of health professionals in the care of patients on elimination method. The research was compiled by the method of quantitative research, for whose realization was used a questionnaire. The questionnaire was intended for nurses and paramedics caring for patients on continuous elimination method. For statistical data processing was used responses from 105 respondents working in the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine. The results of the survey indicate that nurses and paramedic extensively involved in the specialized care of patient with continuous elimination method. Medical staff perceived as the most difficult managing a large number of skills associated with the preparation and handling of elimination device in this area. On the basis of these findings was prepared brochure focusing on continuous elimination method, which is the output of this work. Problems of Occupational Satisfaction of Nurses in Hospital Environment

The aim of this thesis is to continue with the survey of occupational satisfaction done in the Faculty Hospital in Motol and to map subjective satisfaction of nurses as far as the selected aspects related to professional performance are concerned. The theoretical part deals with the satiscfaction with certain areas of people`s lives. The research part heads towards the goal of this thesis by verifying certain assumptions in faculty hospitals in the Czech Republic and in a hospital in Great Britain.
Rehabilitation treatment of patients after cervical back operation in practice

Bachelor's thesis discuss about rehabilitation treatment of patiens after cervical back operation with or without neurological deficit. The skript consist of theoretical and empirical part. Theoretical part explains rehabilitation treatment generaly and specifically for patiens after cervical back operation with or without neurological deficit. Empirical part is based on questionnaire survey, which was aplied on selected ward of three prags hospitals. The subject of survey was knowledge and experience of nurses and physiotherapists in rehabilitation treatment of patiens after cervical back operation.
