This bachelor's thesis consists of two parts. The first part is constituted by the translation of selected chapters from the book Les meilleurs remèdes santé d'antan written by the French author A. Lefief- Delcourt. The translation is from French to Czech language. The second part consists of the translation annotation including the analysis of the original text, the description of the selected translation method, and the typology of the most significant translation problems and shifts.

Social networks and their marketing potential for small and medium businesses

The work is focused on the use of social networks by small and medium sized businesses. The theoretical part first discusses the history and description of selected social networks. For four most popular networks, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn, it described how the company can advertise. The work is described paid forms of advertising in these four social networks. It is described what method of paying for ads and ad placements exists. The practical part is divided into two parts. The first section analyses the chosen company. The work is included an interview with the managing director of the company and on the basis of this interview and self-exploration firm is executed proposal to improve the use of Facebook and other social networks. The second part of the work is focused to the questionnaire survey. It was created 10 hypotheses, and using them was written questions. Hypotheses are after collect a sufficient number of responses evaluated.
