Design of the single span bridge in the town Uherský Brod
Kutálek, Jiří ; Svoboda, Adam (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis aims to design a new version of the loadbearing structure for the existing bridge structure. The design was processed in two options, from which the beam solution superstructure with short cantilevers for catching at-rest earth pressure was chosen. The design and the assessment of the structure were made according to valid EN standards. Structural design was made by hand(-done) calculation with the assistance of SCIA Engineer 18.1 software. The thesis includes drawings and visualizations of the new loadbearing structure.
Detection of a Yoga Poses in Image
Kutálek, Jiří ; Bartl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The motivation for this thesis is the concept of a smartphone app detecting Yoga poses and displaying Yoga frames to a user. The goal of this project is proving that even a simple Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model can be trained to recognize and classify video frames from a Yoga session. I created an application in which the videos are manually annotated. The data, consisting of frames captured from 162 collected videos based on the annotations, is then passed to train a CNN model. The Dataset consists of 22 000 images of 22 different Yoga poses. The frames are captured using the OpenCV library, the training process is handled by the TensorFlow platform and the Keras API, and the results are visualized in the TensorBoard toolkit. The Model's multi-class classification accuracy reaches 91% when the binary cross-entropy loss function and the sigmoid activation function are used. Despite the promising experimental results, the main contributions are the dataset forming tools and the Dataset itself, which both helped to confirm the proof-of-concept.
Design of the road bridge in Brno
Kutálek, Jiří ; Čihák, Petr (referee) ; Klusáček, Ladislav (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a design of a highway bridge across the Svratka river in Brno. Among three options, the arch bridge with a trapezoidal bridge deck from prestressed concrete was chosen. The load effect is calculated with the assistance of Scia Engineer software. The design and the assessment of the structure are made for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state. Static assessment is done by hand calculation according to CSN EN 1992-2. The thesis includes drawings and visualizations of the bridge structure.
Measuring the Thickness of Material Layers Removed from a Sample in an Electron Microscope
Výsledky experimentů ukazují, že jedna z navržených metod, Top-Down FIB, měří konzistentní hodnoty blízké očekávanému průměru a z porovnání vůču ground truth vychází o něco lépe, než state-of-the-art metoda. Navíc, algortimus počítající tečky v obraze se ukazál býti použitelnou metodou pro získání ground truth, neboť dosáhl stabilnějších výsledků, než alternativní ground truth vygenerovaná manuální anotací dat.
