N-heterocyclic carbene catalysis in enantioselective cycloadditions
Krejčířová, Kateřina ; Veselý, Jan (advisor) ; Baszczyňski, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with selected enantioselective cycloaddition reactions catalyzed by N-heterocyclic carbenes. First, we focused on studying the [4+3] cycloaddition reaction. Non-commercial ketimines were prepared as starting materials for the model reaction. Subsequently, the reaction between ketimines and salicylaldehyde was studied, where, despite all efforts, preparing the desired product was impossible. Furthermore, the [3+3] cyclization reaction was studied. Aminopyrazole and substituted α-bromenals were prepared for these purposes. However, while optimizing this reaction, the same concept was published. Finally, our attention was focused on the [3+2] cycloaddition reaction between α-bromenals and hydrazides derived from oxalic acid esters. Here, the reaction conditions were optimized, and the substrate scope was subsequently studied.
The relationship between regularly gymnastic exercise and physical performance level and skill tests in football players
Krejčířová, Kateřina ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Vampola, Jindřich (referee)
Title: The relationship between regularly gymnastic exercise and physical performance level and skill tests in football players Purposes: The main aim of the thesis was to determine whether the regular gymnastic exercise including functional training may affect a performance in selected fitness and coordination tests as well as in specific football skills tests among young football players played in U12 and U13 categories in the context of biological maturity estimated according to their parent's height Methods: The thesis was carried out as a cross-sectional study in which two different groups of footballers were compared. Selected fitness, coordination, and specific football skills tests were measured using field methods. Non-parametric statistical methods were used to assess differences between groups Results: Soccer players who regularly undergo gymnastics exercises performed statistically significant better performance (p < 0.05) in all the tests except agility and ball guidance tests in category U13 and back - balancing and sideways tests in category U12. The relationship between biological maturity according to the parents' heights and the selected tests was not confirmed Conclusion: The study showed that the regular gymnastic exercise included in the training could be positively connected...
The preparation of chiral NHC carbene precatalysts
Krejčířová, Kateřina ; Veselý, Jan (advisor) ; Míšek, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the preparation of chiral NHC carbene precatalysts, which are used as organocatalysts in a variety of organic transformations leading to the formation of optically active compounds. In the course of this work, several triazolium salts were prepared from suitable starting materials using six reaction steps. Triazolium salts derived from oxazolidinone were obtained from well available starting materials, arylhydrazines and phenylalanine.
Gymnastic exercises as prevention of injuries in young soccer players
Krejčířová, Kateřina ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Kolbová, Kateřina (referee)
Name: Gymnastic exercises as prevention of injuries in young soccer players Objectives: The main goal of this work is to elaborate a proposal of the structure of gymnastic movement program based on compensatory exercises and motor-functional preparation, which could be used in the prevention of injuries in football players of pupil categories. Methods: The work is made as a design and demonstration based on literary sources and own experience from practice. The documented overview and reasoned proposal of compensatory and gymnastic exercises for football players has its intention to result in wider practice. Results: Examples of compensatory exercises and gymnastic exercises used in motor- functional preparation. Individual exercises are described in terms of their names, so that they are easy to apply in the training processes. Their importance in compensation of load and prevention against injuries and muscle imbalances is supported by citations of literary sources. Key words: football, injuries, muscle imbalance, prevention, compensatory exercises
Hamlet on Film: The Screen History of the Man Who Could Not Make Up His Mind
Krejčířová, Kateřina ; Nováková, Soňa (advisor) ; Beran, Zdeněk (referee)
The thesis deals with the film adaptations of William Shakespeare's Hamlet; a multi- layered and deeply ambiguous play. Its innate ambiguity pushes directors to take widely differing stances. The thesis looks at different approaches and contrasts their effectiveness. The aspects of the play different directors chose to highlight and with what result is also taken into consideration. By close watching of selected adaptations, the thesis observes the impact of different aspects of the films such as the acting styles, casting, setting and music. The role of the elements unique to film is also examined. Among them are close-up, distance and camera angle, the tempo of editing, and juxtaposition of shots and the use of flashbacks. The thesis discusses the general issues connected with adapting play-texts into the medium of a film. It will also focus on instances within the particular adaptations that demonstrate the shift between the two means of convening a story. The thesis will be limited to the English language adaptations with one exception: Grigori Kozintsev's 1964 version based upon Boris Pasternak's translation into Russian. The thesis pays close attention to the way Kozintsev uses the film to capture the dynamics of a totalitarian state and its impact on society. He highlights the notion of...
