This Bachelor thesis deals with landscape management in Vodnany surrounding. Its aim is to evaluate the condition of the landscape using the coefficient of ecological stability, territorial system of ecological stability, landscape character and places of interest and subsequently to propose measures to restore basic ecological functions of the landscape but also to make the area more attractive and increase the options of its recreational use. These proposals are processed for possible use in the context of comprehensive land adjustments. In the Northwest Territory the model solution of Landscape Park of Vodnany is expected to be created which will be connected to the newly built forest park in the urban town area.
Management of Slapy Water Reservoir
Kratochvíl, Jiří ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Koupilová, Monika (referee)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is "The management of Slapy Water Reservoir." The aim of this work is to find out the present situation of a natural environment next to this huge water area and suggest recommendations or measures, which would lead to an improvement in this location. We will find out a present situation with an assessment of all microregions (cadastral units), which build together an examined area. The assessment could be done from lots of views. First of all we will find out the situation of ecological stability in all of units, which leads us to finding stability or instability of examined areas, also if they make potencial threat for theirs neighborhoods. Next step will be executed or forthcoming landed treatments, which lead to an improvement in locations, which are ecologically labile. Eventually we will use the index of erosions of an agricultural land, which lead us to complementation of informations about our location. The situation of erosions is caused by wrong usage wiht an agricultural land. We will make a complex chart with all of these minor results and then make an arrangement from worst to best areas. The next step will be to suggest concrete treatments for worst areas. We will also find out an access of residents to theirs regions with all of these steps. This access is not a result of one year reluctance to make the area better, but it lasts long time and is caused by rough usage with a landscape. The result of my work should be used as an information source for next solutions, which will be really expensive, but it will help to get better natural environment for next generations of people.
The Possibilities regional development of the marginal area Bohemia forest
Váchal, J. ; Pártlová, P. ; Váchalová, R. ; Koupilová, M. ; Moravcová, J. ; Krejča, M. ; Šír, Miloslav
Within the region of South Bohemia, 49.3 % of the total area is farmland utilized by agriculture; 60 % of this area belong to LFA category. The basic target of regional development is defined as sustainable development of the production and non-production functions of agriculture in compliance with social-economic aspects and the regional policy of the Czech Republic. The necessity to maintain agriculture in these areas is based on the principles of current European agricultural policy whose priorities are production methods aimed at preserving the environment and the landscape. Both foreign and our own experience indicates that the retreat of farming from the landscape means its gradual devastation affecting the natural, production, economic, architectural as well as social and cultural spheres, and, last but not least, the ecological situation.
Multifunctional agriculture – means to development of the non-production function in the landscape
Váchal, J. ; Pártlová, P. ; Váchalová, R. ; Koupilová, M. ; Moravcová, J. ; Krejča, M. ; Šír, Miloslav
The current position of the agricultural sector in the national-economic system does not correspond with the real needs of the modern society in the 21st century. This situation is felt in the most intensive way in the marginal fields, where further existence of agriculture is based on its coexistence with nature protection subject to economic interests, which are more important than the nature protection. Reasonable agricultural use of landscape on the basis of the multifunctional agriculture with parallel harmonisation of production and non-production functions can be very favourable for the landscape in many aspects. Economic effectiveness of this kind of system is negative and therefore it is necessary to support it by the State. Approaches of the society to this solution are primary and invincibly positive.
The Effect of pyroglutamic fragments of vasopressin and oxytocin on the retention of memory after intoxication by neurotoxins QB and DSP-4 in rats
Koupilová, M. ; Patočka, J. ; Barth, Tomislav
Effects of six analogs of AVP fragment 4-9 on cognitive impairment induced by cholinotoxin 3-quinuclidine benzilate (QB) or by noradrenotoxin (DSP-4) were investigated by means of Y-maze with aversive stimulation and T-maze with appetitive stimulation in Wistar rats. QB and DSP-4 induced a severe learning deficit in pretrained animals. Single preventive administration of the peptides reversed the QB and DSP-4 induced impairment of the retention of memory.
