Name: Characteristics of the Attacking Team's Play in the Final Third at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Objectives: Analysis of Attacking Phase Solutions in the Final Third of the Field for Selected Teams at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar Methods: The research focused on categories for solving attacking plays in the final third of the field: playing system, number of passes before finishing, duration of the play until finishing, attack direction, number of attackers and defenders in the situation immediately before finishing, playing position of the finishing player, and the solution of the final phase of the play. The analyzed dataset comprised 12 matches from the knockout stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. This included the regular playing time in the round of 16 and quarter-final matches. Results: The playing system for build-up attacks was used in 174 instances. The number of passes before finishing was up to 5 in 170 cases. Attacking players were outnumbered in 133 actions and had an even number of players in 75 actions. The duration of the actions was only up to 10 seconds in 155 cases. The majority of actions were finished by a forward (119). The most balanced category was the direction of attack, with similar numbers for each category: wing areas (66), center (71), and...

Mareš, Petr ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Frýbort, Pavel (referee)
Name: Analysis of selected goalkeeping activities at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar Objectives: Analysis of selected offensive and defensive goalkeeping activities at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, held in the autumn of 2022. Methods: The research sample consisted of goalkeepers from the four best-placed teams who participated in the matches at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The top teams included Argentina, France, Croatia, and Morocco. Results: We hypothesized that the overall success rate in the activity "playing with feet" (evaluated using "% success") would be higher than 56% for goalkeepers from all teams. This was not confirmed, as French goalkeepers achieved only a 53% success rate in passing. We also hypothesized that goalkeepers would make the most saves from shots taken inside the penalty area compared to other categories (g > 0.8). This was confirmed, as the category of shots inside the penalty area was significantly higher compared to other categories, with Hedges' g > 0.8. Lastly, we evaluated the insignificant differences (g ≤ 0.8) in the frequency of the parameter "distance of all types of passes" between the categories "short, medium, long." This was also confirmed, as the differences between the categories were not highly significant, with none of the categories exceeding 0.8g....

Kučerka, Andrej ; Kokštejn, Jakub (advisor) ; Vampola, Jindřich (referee)
Tittle: Analysis of standard kick-off situations in soccer goalkeepers at different ages Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the standard goal kick situation and compare their frequency and successness between different categories Methods: The scientific method of indirect observation through video recording was used to carry out this work. Based on the observation of the matches of three different teams in different clubs and age categories, an analysis of the success rate of setting up an attack during a kick from goal was carried out. Results: We tracked the frequency and successness rate of standard kick-off situations and compared three categories - U18, U19 and men. The results were surprising, as the youth categories exceeded expectations in establishing an attack on a kick from goal compared to the world-class A- team. For U18 and U19, we found that central defenders were more likely to be in the penalty area (U18: 88 %, U19: 91 %) than out of the penalty area when taking a kick from goal. In contrast, for the senior team, FC Sevilla had 71 % of central defenders positioned outside the penalty area. The positioning of the opponent's attackers showed that the defenders - the opponent's attackers - were outside the zones designated for setting up (65%), while the youth...

Title: The relationship between basic motor coordination and fundamental movement skills in primary school children Author: Dominik Chládek Supervisor: Mgr. Jakub Kokštejn Ph.D. Objectives: To investigace the level of motor coordination and basic motor skills in children of younger school age. At the same time, the aim is to find out the possible relationship between the level of motor coordination and fundamental movement skills. Methods: The test population included 106 pupils from grades 3 to 5, aged 10 to 11 of primary school. The TGMD-2 test battery was used to assess their motor skills level, while the KTK test battery was used to assess motor coordination. Results: The results of this research show below average to very poor performance on the TGMD-2 test in 96 (90.5 %) of the 106 probands. In the KTK test, 44 (41.5 %) children rating normal and 45 (42.5 %) probands rating good according to the motor quotient. Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between TGMD-2 and KTK tests and non-significant differences between boys and girls. Keywords: KTK, younger school age, motor abilities, movement skills, TGMD-2nd edition
