Statefull Processing of TCP/IP Flows
Košek, Martin ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
Network security systems become an essential part of many network structures in both company and university domains. These systems however require a~higher semantic level of network traffic analysis like statefull filtration or TCP stream reassembling. This bachelor work deals with an architecture of flexible network platform capable of statefull processing at multigigabit speeds. It allows to analyze and process incoming network traffic with a flow-based approach rather than packet-based one. The proposed architecture is flexible in supporting wide range of applications, allows performance scalability and state information consistency checking. The advantages and flexibility of proposed platform is demonstrated on several network security applications.

Stateful Processing of Network Flows
Košek, Martin ; Martínek, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
Modern network traffic processing became a challenging task as there are increasing demands on network security devices. Packet-level processing is not sufficient for advanced network traffic analysis and it is necessary to design processing over entire network flows. Stateful processing in software does not offer enough performance for high-speed networks over 10 Gbps and therefore acceleration in hardware should be utilized. Currently there exists no universal platform for stateful processing in hardware and this task has to be implemented individually. Utilization of such platform significantly speed-up development of stateful network applications. This master thesis analyzes all aspects of stateful network processing platform design. Component based architecture increases platform flexibility and ability to optimize for chosen network applications.
Application of logistics in international trade
Kosek, Martin ; Klosová, Anna (advisor) ; Ihoshina, Viktorija (referee)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze modern trends in logistics and its implications with international trade. Further, to describe recent and future changes in international trade on the basis of economical perspective of different world regions and its grouping. Great importance is here placed on logistics providers, because the connection between international trade and logistics is very close. Teoretical information described in the first part of this diploma thesis, are compared to the working of real interantional company.
The influence of global economic crisis on monetary integration in Europe
Kosek, Martin ; Čajka, Radek (advisor) ; Černá, Iveta (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the impact of economic crisis in 2008 on states that are already members of eurozone or states aiming to join it. This work is divided into 4 chapters. The first two chapters deal with the economic impact on selected members of European Union that were affected most by the recession. The second part mainly deals with the processes that were set off by the economic crisis in EU and that showed certain flaws, which have shaken the foundations of the ambitious unification.
