Coral reef assemblages in the Earth history

This thesis summarizes the present status of findings of reef ecosystem in the Earth history, beginning with uncertain discoveries of Precambrian till the end of the Tertiary. The work is divided into three thematical units, according to the phanerozic erathems. In the beginning of every unit I describe the reef environment and its geographical presence in that time period. Next, I mention main groups of reef building organisms and their changes in time. A key part of each chapter are dedicated to the development of corals of given erathem, their prosperity during favorable conditions and impact of deteriorating conditions of their occurrence. And so, the other part of my work is also a description of the decline of coral reefs during the five main mass extinctions. The thesis also contains a comparison of the systematic classification of Anthozoa in biological and geological point of view. Geological guidebook of region Nový Knín

This thesis. Geological guide through Novokninsko, deals with enhancing children's knowledge and securing space for their own opinion about history, geological history, regional mining tradition and importance as a prominent golden ore deposit throughout the history of the Czech lands. I checked upon the extent of knowledge and understanding of this matter among pupils of second stage of elementary school.

Bilateral relations between interest rates and exchange rates (in selected countries)

This thesis deals with the relation between interest differential and exchange rate. First part is about the exchange rate system explanation and about explanation of theoretical background of relation between interest rate and exchange rate (i. e. Asset Market Model, Interest Rate Parity, etc.). The goal of second part is to verify theoretical assumptions on empirical data. There is a sample of ten European countries which is used for applying of graphical analysis, regression analysis and VAR model analysis.
