Information about Psychology and Psychological Diagnostics of Deaf Children in Czech and Foreign Literature

This thesis deals with available information about psychology and psychological diagnostics of deaf children in the Czech and foreign specialized literature. The opening methodological part focuses on characteristic of the literature and on description of how the Czech and English texts were searched and processed. The information in the following part, that deals with processing the publications, are clearly arranged into a bibliographic research. The research of the Czech specialized literature has shown a narrow focus on some psychological topics and a lack of texts dealing with psychological treatment of deaf people in practise. The research of the English expert literature has revealed a bad availability of this literature for Czech readers and a poor interest in translating texts, that focus on psychology and the deaf people.
