Privacy protection and profiling

The bachelor thesis deals mainly with the issue of the right to privacy and data protection in the context of social network sites and ongoing user profiling. The theoretical part specifies the legislative of these concepts and then focuses on social network sites and their privacy violations. The thesis also specifies the social network site TikTok, ongoing user profiling, personal data collecting and ways how to stop it. The practical part of this thesis is a website which serves as an educational portal in the context of privacy protection on social network sites.
Duty of due managerial care - a comparative point of view

The main goal by writing of this thesis was to provide a contribution to the discussion regarding the interpretation of selected legal terms contained in the Czech concept of the due managerial care, with the help of comparison with the development of this legal element in the law of neighbouring Austrian republic, which is (to my knowledge) still not significantly professionally accounted for in our academic environment. The Austrian concept of the duty of due managerial care is in Czech academic literature not often considered, therefore I offer in order to allow for mentioned comparison in this thesis an overview analysis of the present legal regulation of the duty of due managerial care in Austrian law, whereas emphasised are the aspects, which are further used in the breakdown of constituent issues, alternatively aspects, which distinguish Austrian law from Czech law. I am trying to provide deeper insight into selected number of topics and to formulate my own conclusions regarding partial issues with the help of comparative findings from the Austrian law in the relation to the most common form of business corporation, the limited liability company. Assignment of Business Receivables under Czech and German Law

The aim of this thesis is to provide detailed analysis of selected legal aspects with practical importance of the assignment of business receivables. Particular topics are focused on problematic legal features of cession, that have so far not been sufficiently elaborated in expert literature, mainly with regards to the impacts of the recent transformation of the Czech civil law. The issues are approached as comparison between the previous law and the current law, which is in force since 1st January 2014, alongside taking account of solutions for chosen issues under German law.
The use of legal form of "limited company" for business in Germany

This thesis is aimed at the description of the development of the European business law, with regard to the blending of two different legal systems under the European integration, and certain modest assessment of the results. It brings at the same time description of two foreign forms of companies with limited liability, private company limited by shares and Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung, comparison and evaluation of these forms for conducting business in German market and subsequent outline of suitable application and use of private company limited by shares, that can be applied not just in Germany, but in the other member states including Czech republic as well.
