The bacheloral thesis The comparation of the chosen aspects of Kytice by Karel Jaromír Erben and Ballady i romanse by Adam Mickiewicz will in the opening part describe the complex characterization of ballads on the both primary texts. Next will introduce authors and their works. In the following part the bacheloral thesis will focus for example on the comparation of the literary motives, the characterizations of the real and supernatural characters, the concept of the death or the motive of character's transformation. The bacheloral thesis will focus on description of the atmosphere and time, in which the ballads take place. Afterwards the thesis will be concerned for example with the motive of guilt and punishment or the character of women-heroines. The Picture of Polish and Poland in the Language Textbooks for Czech

The thesis The Picture of Polish and Poland in the Language Textbooks for Czech reconstructs the image of Poland and Polish in the textbooks, grammar and other language books, which are addressed to Czech recipients. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part consists of three main sections, which are based on the secondary literature, the first focuses on the the linguistic picture of the world, the second deals with the stereotypes and the prototypes and the third aims at the didactics of foreign languages in the Czech and Polish background. The purpose of the practical part is, based on an analysis of selected topics, to create a coherent picture of Polish and Poland. The topics include, for example, the roles of a man and woman in the Polish family, the characteristics of the Poles, spending time, cuisine and eating, names and surnames, description of historical events etc.

The image of Saint Wenceslas in the chronicles of old Czech literature

The aim of the bacheloral thesis is to describe the image of St. Wenceslas in the selected chronicles of older Czech literature. The primary texts that will serve as the basis of the bacheloral thesis will be especially Kristiánova legenda, Kronika Čechů written by Kosmas, Kronika tak řečeného Dalimila, Kronika česká by Přibík Pulkava z Radenína, a document called O státě českém by Pavel Stránský ze Zapské Stránky, Kronika česká by Václav Hájek z Libočan, Diadochus by Bartoloměj Paprocký z Hlohol a Paprocké Vůle, Poselkyně starých příběhů českých by Jan František Beckovský and an anonymous document called Země dobrá, to jest země česká. This bacheloral thesis will focus on the character of our Czech patron in the light of the description of his personality, life, method of his government, relationship between him and other members of his family and other aspects. These motives will be examined within the primary texts and then compared.
