This bachelor thesis focuses on the conceptual design of a tracked chassis for the transport of unified palletising boxes. The initial chapters of the thesis will discuss the currently used tracked chassis designs and their components. Subsequently, the conceptual design of the chassis will be developed, its properties and parameters will be calculated, and selected structural elements will be designed in detail.
Modern trends in tunnel excavation using TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine)
Hlaváček, Josef ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the current technology of Tunnel Boring Machines (TBM) and with the modern trends emerging in this focus area. The first part is devoted to a general description of TBM and the history of their development. The next part of the thesis deals with the different types of TBM and describes the way how they work and where and under what conditions they can be applied. The focus is also given to the comparison of these machines, distributed based on the environment they are designed for. These machines are as well compared with other tunnel boring methods. Subsequently, the application of TBM technology is analysed both on a global scale and within the Czech Republic. The thesis also discusses the frequency of TBM use in the mining industry and its possible potential in this branch. The last part is focused on the recent and possible future development of TBM.
Computer simulation model concept of an automated sorting system
Dvořák, Patrik ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
In response to the growing demand for fast sorting of items, this bachelor thesis focuses on automated sorting systems. It describes the whole system in detail, from the basic principle, to the partitioning, the technologies and sensors used, to the advantages and diverse applications. It includes current trends for small volume shipments in this area. The thesis presents the concept and layout used to create the simulation model in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation software from Siemens. A matrix of experiments was created for the simulation model. Subsequently, simulation experiments were performed to find an optimization solution. Finally, verification and validation was performed where the simulation model was compared with the analytical calculation result.
Analysis of material flow in the loading system production using computer simulation
Loprais, Pavel ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
Bachelor thesis focuses on the elaboration of a literary review of computer software used for modelling and simulating material flow in manufacturing. According to the proposed layout concept, a computer simulation model of loading circuits will be created, including the configuration of basic operational parameters using the Plant Simulation program. The work involves a detailed description of information flows in the loading line, including the implementation of proposed systems into the computer model. An analysis will be conducted to assess the impact of simulation model parameters on the discussed characteristics of material and information flows.
Belt conveyor for a sorted recyclate
Březina, Ondřej ; Zeizinger, Lukáš (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a positionable belt conveyor which is part of a mobile recycling machine. The conveyor transports the material at an angle of 30° with a height difference of 1.5 m. The research part focuses on the study of belt conveyors with a higher inclination angle and then characterizes their basic parts. This is followed by a conceptual design of the structure in which the basic components are selected and then subjected to design calculations. Furthermore, a strength check of the structure and a detailed description of the principle of positioning to the working and transport position are carried out. The work includes 3D images of the conceptual model and drawings of selected components.
Equipment for handling the switchgear panel
Brauner, Jiří ; Černohous, Josef (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The work deals with the design of a handling device used for lifting, rotating, and moving a switchboard. The first part of the work includes a review of technologies for handling large loads. The second part contains a summary of legislative regulations for handling switchboards. Furthermore, the work includes the design of the handling device, comprising the concept design, construction design, and strength verification of selected structural nodes.
Tractor single-axle semi-trailer
Jurenka, Radim ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the conceptual and constructional design of a tractor single-axle semi-trailer, which is supported by the verification of component choice by functional, dimensional and force calculations with analytical structural analysis of selected structural sections. The design’s result is an agricultural semi-trailer, having specific characteristics and parameters, that has maximum gross weight of 5000 kg with single-side tipping flatbed, suitable for coupling into tractor hitch. The work includes partial drawing documentation of the proposed tractor semi-trailer.
Analysis of material flow in a production line using computer simulation
Karas, Lukáš ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor ‘s thesis deals with the creation of a material flow analysis of the production system. The first part of the thesis is focused on the literature search of logistics and computer simulation software. The second part deals with the creation of the layout of the production system and the creation of a simulation model. Simulations are performed using the Technomatix Plant Simulation software developed by Siemens company. In the third part, an analysis of the results of the matrix of simulation experiments is carried out. At the end of the work, an evaluation of the results of the performed analyzes is carried out.
Two furrow fixed plough
Mlynář, Tomáš ; Mergl, Václav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the structural design of a two-row, single-sided carried plough for a three-point linkage of a small tractor, ISO 730-1 category. The introductory part includes a research analysis of ploughs available on the market and of small tractors of a given power range, up to 40 kW. In the next part, a plough concept is proposed, supported by analytical, functional and dimensional calculations. Finally, the selected design nodes are checked. The bachelor thesis includes a CAD model and drawings.
Transport semi-trailer of a building machine for a tractor
Ružica, David ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Kašpárek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the structural design of a semi-trailer for transporting construction machinery. The first four chapters contain both a classification of tractor trailers and a survey of similar trailers in this category, the construction machinery transported and the legislative regulations they must meet. The following chapter is a survey of the basic elements of a semi-trailer. The individual elements chosen are then described, based on the previous chapter, and the construction of the semi-trailer itself. The last part of the thesis deals with strength analytical calculations of selected structural nodes according to the specifications. The appendix of the thesis contains drawings of the semi-trailer assembly, weldments of the frame and shop production drawings of the selected parts.
