The vision of this urban study is to propose a reconstruction of the city block in the problematic area in Brno. Now is there brownfields area. In this project is proposed a set of fifteen buildings. There are two five-storey buildings and one single-storey building from the original building. In the main floor are commercial shops, restaurants, bars, and conversion of the hall were created a marketplace connected with the central square. The two parking houses divide places vertically and optically into public and semi-public spaces. The apartments are oriented east-west. In this project is proposed new communication along the river and the new interconnection of Cejl Street with the seafront. The dilapidated area has been given a new life and a new use of a good city.
Kopřivnice – Housing along Kopřivnička
Kóňová, Patrícia ; Mašek, Radomír (referee) ; Marek, Jiří (advisor)
The prefabricated apartment buildings are on the west bank of the river and family houses on the east bank of the river. On the east side there are private areas of family houses and on the west side there are prefabricated buildings with poor quality public spaces. There is only the anonymity of the city, isolation and a lack of human dimension. My concept solves the problem of combining two opposing approaches. It emphasizes neighborly relations in the form of community and the development of community thinking. What should urbanism that unites people look like?
