Jurystová, Lucie ; Gabrhelík, Roman (advisor) ; Vacek, Jaroslav (referee)

Although many adolescents end with experiments, there is still a group of those who proceed to regular use. According to various studies earlier onset of substance use may predict serious difficulties in adult stages of life. Important and currently widely discussed question is differences in substance use between boys and girls. Aims To identify the age of cigarette, alcohol and cannabis use onset according to gender. To find out prevalence of use among boys and girls. To find out whether incidence of substance use is higher during school year or summer holidays. Methods The ESPAD questionnaire was used for data collection, which was realized in the period of 34 months from August 2007 until June 2010. Indicators were defined for categories of cigarette smoking, alcohol drinking and experience with cannabis. For clarification of the given hypothesis statistical analyses in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 were used - descriptive statistics, contingency tables, Fisher's F-test and (Student)...

To assess the effectiveness of the programme, we have to validate data by evaluation. Recently a new preventive programme was invented in the Czech republic - nPrevention, which is recommended as continuation on the Unplugged programme. The pilot implementation of the nPrevention programme occured in 2015 and there have not been any studies that would evaluate this programme yet. Aims: The main aim of the study is to map the unity or biases from the methodology of the Unplugged and nPrevention programmes and suggest innovations that would help to increase the efficiency of the programme realisation. Methods: To gather information about the process, preparation and realisation of the programmes Unplugged and nPrevention, an online questionnaire was completed by the implementers of the programmes. Depending on the type of data (qualitative or quantitative), the information was evaluated by descriptive statistics, percentage calculation, categorization, etc. Sample: In case of research the schools were divided into two experimental groups and one controling group. Piloting the System of the Reporting System of Prevention Activities in Schools and Educational Facilities
Šťastná, Barbora ; Gabrhelík, Roman (advisor) ; Jurystová, Lucie (referee)
Background: A school prevention worker (SPW) evaluates the Basic Preventive Programme (BPP) every academic year. The draft design of reporting system (RS) of preventive activities was created as a result of the VYNSPI project. Online RS was designed with the aim of uniting the form and providing schools with a (self-) evaluation tool. Aims: The main aim of this thesis is the analysis of the feedback from SPW. Research group: 60 respondents from elementary and high schools from four regions of the Czech Republic participated in the data collection (90% of the respondents were female). Average number of years in practice was 24,2 years and 76,6% of respondents have a specialized SPW education. Methods: The feedback was collected via an on-line questionnaire. Results were evaluated by descriptive statistics in MS Excel. Results: Reporting system feedback obtained from SPWs or other prevention workers came with a positive result. About 73% of respondents understood the used terminology and were satisfied with the graphical form of the RS. The final PDF output of RS in PDF format was considered as useful by 73% of respondents and 46,6% of respondents claimed they would use it as the basis for the final evaluation of the BPP at school. Respondents evaluated the online RS with the average mark of 1,64. Conclusion:...
