Also, I describe main risk of information system implementation project and risk governance according to COBIT methodology. In the end, I describe implementation methodology of ERP system by QAD company. The practical part focuses on the implementation of the ERP system of the American company QAD in two specific enterprise. This section will assess risks of these projects, both in terms of expected risk and in terms of the risks beyond in excess of those expected. It will evaluate the most important general factors for successful implementation of both the projects. I also created a map of all the risks identified for each project.

Theoretical part is also trying to define online social network with the aim on education, few of social networks are presented with exam-ples how can they be used in practise. The practical part consists in the implementation of a chosen social network (proba-bly Yammer) into the real teaching courses of the Department of system analysis - intro-ductory on subjects 4SA615 - Information Management and 4SA526 - New media and social networks. Questionnaire is used to evaluate the results and to get feedback from the student on the implemented project (social network). Recommendations are proposed based on the feedback, which could be applied to improve the courses in upcoming semes-ters. In the best-case scenario, the conclusion of this diploma thesis could lead to imple-menting the social network for whole department, or even university.
Evaluation of tools for process modeling
Engeová, Andrea ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Juříček, Jan (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the modeling and evaluation tools that are used for process modeling. The aim is to provide a method of selecting the most appropriate tool for selected requirements. This goal is achieved by using several subgoals, which include tools analysis for process modeling, design criteria for the selection of tools, their weights calculation, design and construction method for selecting tools in Excel and create case studies that will demonstrate the principles of selection tools. At the beginning of the thesis is characterized by the area of process management, its history, actual trends and definitions related thereto. Another chapter is a description of notations that are used for modeling processes. The largest part of the chapter is devoted to the characteristics Notation Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), which together with their graphic design described all the elements of notation. The remaining part of the chapter describes the notation event-driven process chain (EPC) and the Unified Modeling Language (UML). A description of tools for process modeling is dedicated to the fifth chapter includes a detailed characterization of each instrument. Based on the individual tools and literary sources, the next chapter in the proposed criteria by which the tools will be evaluated. For calculating the weights of the proposed criteria is used Fuller method. The chapter concludes with evaluation tools previously described and a description of how to select the creation tools in Excel. The work ends with case studies which serve to illustrate the procedure for selecting tools.
Students' perception survey of teacher quality in lower and upper secondary school
Juříček, Jan ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Zvírotský, Michal (referee)
Tittle: Students' perception survey of teacher quality in lower and upper secondary school Author: Jan Juříček Department: Department of Education Supervisor: PhDr. RNDr. Hana Voňková, Ph.D., Ph.D Abstract: The aim of " Students' perception survey of teacher quality in lower and upper secondary school" is to inform readers about the concept of getting feedback for teachers from their students. The feedback is based on four surveys, namely I Know My Class, My Student Survey, 7C, and YouthTruth. We also present the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of a feedback. The summary of available information about surveys dealing with students' feedback for teachers and the analyses of those surveys belong among the main points of the theoretical part. The aim of the empirical part is to compare the key categories among the surveys and to generalise the basic educational themes and issues the surveys are dealing with. Another goal is to examine, whether the content of the surveys is similar and can be compared to our educational reality. We will analyse this through the comparison of the surveys' key categories and the proposed Czech and German teacher standards. We also compare the content of the surveys with the Czech general didactics literature. Final step is to present the surveys and their topics to...
Proposal and implementation of web application for single entry book-keeping
Hofhanzl, Martin ; Smutný, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Juříček, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with issues of single entry book-keeping and web technologies that nowadays may be used while developing web applications. Its aim is to introduce basic structure of single entry book-keeping, describe web technologies and develop a web application for single entry book-keeping. In terms of the theoretical part, there are compared available applications with an overview of their features. Characteristic of single entry book-keeping is introduced which and subsequently followed by chapter related to web application requirements. To conclude this part there is a basic characteristic of web technologies that were used while developing an application. In terms of the practical part, there is outlined a process of designing graphic interface which represents the simple shape of the landing page as well as application. Data structure is specified in detail as a follow-up to a characteristic of single entry book-keeping. The last part focuses on the practical example of functions in the application. The practical output of this thesis is real web application which is ready for first users.
Cloud Computing Audit for Small and Medium Enterprises
Kroft, Karel ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Juříček, Jan (referee)
Cloud computing brings to the world of information systems many opportunities but also new risks. The main one is decreased customer ability to directly control the security of information and systems, because administration responsibility passes to providers. This thesis focuses on cloud services auditing from the small and medium enterprises perspective. In introduction, this work defines information system audit terminology, characterizes cloud services and analyzes international legislation. Standardization organizations, published standards and methodologies that are widely respected in IT field are introduced. For the trust mediation in the cloud are important independent third-party audits and organizations specializing in the examination and control of cloud providers. The assumptions list is assembled on this basis to support screening process and to check, whether enterprise, service providers and services are ready for creating efficient and safe cloud system. The assumptions are applied to selected cloud service providers.

Modern project management methodology (for custom implementations SW)
Zatloukal, Filip ; Svatá, Vlasta (advisor) ; Juříček, Jan (referee)
This thesis deals with the issue of project management in the development of custom software, particularly PRINCE2 methodology and agile approaches to software development. The work is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical. It describes the basic concepts of project management, project history and characterizes the selected software development methodologies. The classical methods are represented by waterfall and spiral models. In the context of the agile methods are described Scrum, Extreme Programming, Kanban and Scrumban. Regarding the standards of project management this thesis describes in detail the methodology PRINCE2 which at the end of the theoretical part will be compared to the standards of PMI and IPMA. The second part is practical and describes an adaptation of PRINCE2 for small projects and helps to decide which tools of PRINCE2 are required for small projects use and which ones can be ignored. In this thesis the process of managing product delivery within the PRINCE2 methodology is replaced by the agile methodology Scrumban that is adapted for a software development within analyzed organization. The thesis focuses on a more detailed description of the methodology Scrumban, established metrics and motivation within the development team.
