Design and implementation of program for transformation of UML structures to programming language
Minářová, Alice ; Týč, Matěj (referee) ; Jindra, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the problematics of conversion of UML diagrams to code. Initially, existing solutions in this field are analyzed. Based on the gained findings, a new tool is designed and implemened. It accepts UML class diagrams and database models from the free diagramming environment Dia and for each of these offers three target languages. The key feature of this tool is its modular design allowing new target languages to be added easily.

Master of Madonna from Žebrák and the Sculpture ofthe Last Quarter of 14th Century.
Vrablik, Stéphane ; Ottová, Michaela (advisor) ; Jindra, Petr (referee)
(EN) The thesis focuses on twelve sculptures from the last quarter of the 14th century, more or less closely associated with the Madonna of Žebrák in the existing literature. Since the 1960s, the core of the group has been conceptualised as the production of one artist or one workshop, which immediately preceded and in many ways contributed to the formulation of the so-called beautiful style around 1400. More recent scholarship interprets the group more as a broader tendency, forming a kind of alternative to the first works of the beautiful style in the 1380s, existing parallel to them in mutual interaction. While the exclusive earliest beautiful Madonnas seem to have been created as a somewhat deliberately formulated pictorial type, actively reinterpreting the rich sculptural tradition of the third quarter of the century, the more conservatively oriented sculptures of the Žebrák Madonna circle tend to build on the earlier work. The sculptors worked inventively with various stimuli brought by the dynamic and artistically fertile environment of Prague. The surprisingly wide style range of this group finds its sources and comparisons in the various positions of Parléř's cathedral sculpture and carving, the marlstone (opuka) madonnas and especially the horizontal pietas; a certain continuity with the...

The concept of the biblical narratives in the Czech art of the 20th century from the late 40th to the beginning of the normalization
Filipcová, Marie ; Klimešová, Marie (advisor) ; Jindra, Petr (referee)
The thesis mainly deals with the specifics of Czech art at the time of communist totality. The main objective was to focus on the artists who due to circumstances found themselves at the edge of a cultural society. They were reconciled with this situation as they refused to betray the beliefs and denominations they confessed. The fundamental common point of their artistic freedom is the choice of themes. In this case it is the biblical theme that was first associated in the fifties with coping with existentialist feelings. And later on with finding artistic expression, which would contain spiritual overlap. In the first part we follow up iconographic parallels. In the second part we deal with individual authors and contexts that determined their artistic creation. In the group of authors are those who are engaged systematically in themes. Among others A. Divis, B. Reynek, I. Sobotka, V. Novakova, M. Medek, J. Koblasa and R. Piesen. In conclusion there is a treatise on contemporary philosophical trends that are connected with creation of our authors.

To the ideological content of the Vyšší Brod (Hohenfurth) cycle
Jindra, Petr ; Royt, Jan (referee) ; Hlaváčková, Jana Hana (advisor)
The work deals with iconography and ideological content of the Vyšší Brod (Hohenfurth) cycle (about 1350), which is one of the most important works of Czech medieval panel painting. The set of nine panels showing the life of Christ (the Annunciation / the Nativity / the Adoration of Magi / Christ on the Mount of Olives / the Crucifixion / the Lamentation / the Resurrection / the Ascension and the Pentecost) was since its discovery in the Cistercian Monastery in Vyšší Brod (Hohenfurth) in south Bohemia associated with Cistercian milieu. Except the place, where the cycle was found, this thesis is supported also by portrait of donator in the Nativity panel with coat of arms of Rožmberk's family, founders of the cloister. According to the opinion of the most of scholars since sixties (see CIBULKA 1963, PEŠINA 1982), these nine panels was originally organized in square retable of the main altar in the cloister church, with three rows of three panels starting with Annunciation at the bottom left and ending with the Pentecost at the top right. During eighties and nineties some scholars came with another idea of the original function and setting. It was suggested that the set of the nine tables was designed as frieze for a choir screen in the monastery church or for the monk's choir stalls (see HLAVÁČKOVÁ 1998a,...
