Recoverability of municipal waste plastics

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is identification of running costs and economical claims connected with production of secondary raw materials from separated plastic waste. The bachelor thesis is about to design of a disposition and processing of project documentation for a detached house which contains one dwelling unit. The building is situated in the village Doubravník in Brno – venkov discrict. It is a slab-building with two floors with a flat roof single casting. The house is based on the wall footings of plain concrete and it is used the building systém POROTHERM and contact insulation ISOVER. A built-up area is 141,52 m2.

The main aim of this master's thesis is the world ocean pollution by plastic waste. The introductory part of the thesis contains general information about the production of plastics and plastic waste, followed by data on ocean pollution by plastic waste including the estimated amount, pollution sources, and composition. Part of the thesis consists of the introduction of known concepts that are already actively looking for a solution to marine waste and of their mutual comparison. The following part deals with the plastic waste management, the possibilities of its treatment and utilization. The last area is the draft of an alternative system that is focused on an effective solution in accordance with environmental aspects. Within this draft, a material and economic balance is made.

The current epidemiological situation of tuberculosis in Central Bohemian Region

Tuberculosis (TBC) is an infectious disease with long history, that goes to the beginnings of humanity. Nowadays, TBC is mainly creating socioeconomic issues connected with overpopulation. In 21st century, TBC remains major concern for public health in terms of infectious diseases in European region. Even though the joint efforts of political, economical and health institution are being successful, there is still need for better health care coordination, diagnosis improvement, and help to the endangered groups of people in lower income countries. The aim of this thesis is to assess the epidemiological situation of TBC incidence in the Central Bohemia region in the years from 2008 to 2017 with a special focus on impact of health and socioeconomic risk factor for developing TBC. Research questions concern population structure characteristics of TBC patients, differences between sexes and factors that affect TBC death. Methods of contingence tables, χ2 -test of independence and logistic regression were applied to analyse of the effect of age, comorbidities, and risk behaviour on the development of TBC. It was found that there are differences in age structure of patients with TBC between men and women. Tuberculosis - history and present state in the region Central Bohemia

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease spread all over the world. It belongs to specific inflammatory diseases and is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This bacterium was discovered in the year 1882 by Robert Koch. For his discovery he received a Nobel Prize in the year 1905 in category of Physiology and Medicine. In honour of this discovery "International Day of TB" was set for 24th March every year. This disease has had a long history and has been recently very much in the picture again, a fact which needs a continuous attention. Writing a good case report important to diagnose TB, an epidemiologic report, bacteriologic proof of the specific bacterium, other laboratory test and investigations. Since the year 1944 when Streptomycin was discovered, targeted anti- tuberculosis treatment of TB has been currently available. Today the treatment regime consists of combination of anti/mycobacterium medicines. Other important factors are prevention, regular check/ups and registration of patients. Precautions about this disease in professional and public circles plays a huge role in early diagnosis and treatment of the disease as well as a low mortality. In spite of all these facts and the progress in diagnosis and treatment of TB, TB remains a world/wide problem even in our 21st century.
