Children's motor skills in track and field (children 6 - 9 year)

Titule: Children's motor skills in track and field (children 6-9 years) Student: Jana Javůrková Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Aims: One of the objectives of this work was the determination of the physical readiness and motion level of primary school children with the aid of five purposely selected motor tests. The research was conducted among the group of children of athletic prep. The results were compared with tabulated values in literature. Simultaneously was monitored the relationship between performances and measured body weight and hight of monitored children. Using the questionnaire were recorded the attitudes of children to sport, to other physical activities and last but not least, athletic disciplines from the point of view of popularity. Methodology: For the purpose of this thesis was evaluated a total of n = 28 children of primary school age, which were divided into two groups according to age, 6-7 years old (year of birth 2006-2005) and 8-9 years (year of birth 2004-2003). Evaluation of stability level of athletes (14-15 years) by MFT S3 Check

Theme: Evaluation of stability level of athletes (14-15 years) by MFT S3 Check Aims: The aim of this diploma thesis is evaluation of stability level, sensomotor and pose symmetry of both-limb posture by MFT S3 Check system at a selected group of children attending an athletic club. I used the comparison of values between a group of girls and boys. Methodology: The level of stability, sensomotor and pose symmetry was measured in the course of the race season. The data was measured by MFT S3 Check system and further one leg stand test was used. Measurment was supplemented with a questionnaire survey. I used the comparison of values between a group of girls and boys Results: In the test MFT S3 Check the girls achieved above-average evaluation in the index values and stability sensomotorics than boys, who were evaluated in the test below average. The sum of the average values of divergences from the ideal ratio at both monitored levels were lower by 0.15 at boys. There was proved a medium dependence of body weight and BMI values on the level of stability. Shoe size, incidence of ankle injuries, nor the results of the one leg stand test had no impact on the level of stability. Key words: senzomotor, stability, symmetry, 14-15 years, athletics, testing

The relation between style and sense in Gustave Flaubert's Sentimental Education

This thesis examines the conception of style in Sentimental Education as a pure formal beauty. The first part of the study traces the evolution of this conception by analysing the thought of several critics : A. Thibaudet, R. Barthes, L. Cellier and J.-P. Duquette. This analysis leads us to claim that the conception of style as an ornament is conditioned by a certain interpretation of the novel : the fact that Frédéric and his friends have not brought their efforts to a close is considered as a failure and Flaubert is branded as a pessimist. Since the examined critics are annoyed by this in-achievement of the narrated tasks, they need to compensate it with something achieved : a perfect beauty. Thus, it's a desire of the absolute that shows through this conception of style. Postulating that style and sense are two inseparable phenomena, the second part of the study shows that this desire is exactly what the novel seeks to dissuade us from. Our analysis reveals in the text a systematic use of irony, which suggests the destruction of the missions imposed to the characters at the same time that these are narrated to us. Thus, the aspirations for the absolute (for the unity) are esposed through the expectations of the reader.

Sociální reformy v České a Slovenské republice

V posledních několika letech jsou Česká i Slovenská republika nuceni dělat opatření, která by omezila jejich štědré sociální systémy. Cílem této práce je popsat jednotlivé reformní kroky prováděné v oblasti sociální politiky od roku 2000, posoudit jejich dopady na ekonomiku, zvláště pak na trh práce a vládní výdaje. Z výsledků práce vyplývá, že sociální reformy na Slovensku měly kladný dopad na slovenskou ekonomiku. V České republice už dopad sociálních reforem není tak jednoznačný. Situace na trhu práce se sice zlepšila, ale neustále rostou veřejné výdaje.
