Foundry molding mixtures with biopolymer binders
Šindlerová, Eliška ; Janský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Pernica, Vítězslav (advisor)
This work is interested in a new modern solutions in the field of foundry binders. Several biopolymer materials suitable for foundry industry are described and the conditions for using these materials and few examples of casting tests with the use of the biopolymer binders. The main reason why the biopolymer materials are coming back to the industry is a huge amount of strict environmental requirements for the ecological behavior of industrial enterprises and current very bad ecological situation. However this inovative solutions doesn´t have to be only benefits for our environment but the can bring various simplifications to the production process, shortening the time required for preparation or technological breaks, and lower the costs of input material and subsequent waste treatment.
Manufacture of castings from electrical copper
Janský, Vojtěch ; Lána, Ivo (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to verify influence of conditions of metallurgical treatment, used foundry technology and conditions of solidification on electrical conductivity of pure copper castings. The experiment part observe differenec between alloy melting under normal pressure and in a vacuum and betwwen casting provided with chill, insulation and natural enviroment of mould.
Making of movie figurine replica
Petřík, Michal ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Janský, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis is focused on an overview of artistic casting in a form of chronological order of individual epochs in the mankind’s arts, in which artistic casting had occurred. Furthermore, a brief overview of materials used the most in artistic casting is added to this thesis. Practical part of this thesis is dedicated to various ways of production of a movie figurine replica based on a copy of children’s toy.
Basic methods of influencing the aluminum alloys structures
Janský, Vojtěch ; Kaňa, Václav (referee) ; Blažík, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to deal with common ways influencing of structure of aluminium alloys. Thesis deals with speed of cooling, inoculation and modification. The experimental part compares photos of samples of different castings and influece of already mentioned ways of influencing of structure during solidification.
Casting technology in bell founding
Šromota, Michal ; Pernica, Vítězslav (referee) ; Janský, Vojtěch (advisor)
The topic of the bachelor’s thesis, which comprises of theoretical and practical part, is campanology. The purpose was to summarize the technology of the bells’ manufacture from both, current and historical viewpoints. Basis of the theoretical part is literary recherche which describes the whole process of the bell’s manufacturing, material used for its casting, acoustic features of the bell, history of the industry and parts which are integral part of the bell. The recherche was composed mainly based on Czech academic literature, nonetheless, to a lesser extent, abroad resources were included too. Within the framework of the practical part a bronze bell was casted by a lost wax method with the contribution of 3D print.
Making a replica of mace head
Dobrovolný, Tomáš ; Janský, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bořil, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on technology for production of mace head replicas. The theoretical part analyzes the technologies that will be used in its production. Starting with Rapid prototyping technology, which will be used to build the model to casting possibilities, either by evaporating casting or sand casting. The practical part describes the creation of a computer model, its printing using a 3D printer and subsequent casting by both mentioned methods.
