Janíčková, Klára ; Buriánek, Jiří (advisor) ; Šafr, Jiří (referee)
(english) This thesis focuses on the issue of non-participation of adolescents in physical education classes in secondary schools. The main aim of the thesis was to identify the causes of this phenomenon and to find possible alternatives that would lead to increased participation of students in physical education. The research combines quantitative surveys in secondary schools and qualitative interviews with selected students who show reduced activity in physical education classes. Trends in Traditional Czech Cuisine
Janíčková, Klára ; Vinopal, Jiří (advisor) ; Richter, Eva (referee)
(english) Just like the whole society is going through modernization, culture and tradition is experiencing the very same modernization and it is being changed. Every culture contains food, it is a component of everyday life for all people. Food satisfies needs, it develops creativity, but it is as well part of socialization and interpersonal communication. The whole process of food purchase, food preparation and food consumption is interwoven by values and norms, learned stereotypes and social pressures. Through content analysis of recipes of traditional dishes in culinary magazines printed for the Czech public, this bachelor's thesis reveals changes in consumer preferences due to the modernization of society, eating habits and the Czech gastronomic scene. These recipes are compared to the traditional version from author Marie Janků-Sandtnerová. The content analysis showed that modern recipes are rich in ingredients and there are as well changes in terms of health and nutritional benefits. Key words: tradition; modernization; food; traditional kitchen; eating habits; eating trends; gastronomy
