ID - IDENTITY (UN) KNOWN (time specific in-cognito in-stant id - entity)
Janečková, Zuzana ; Babák, Petr (referee) ; Rozbořil, Blahoslav (referee) ; Chamonikolasová, Kaliopi (referee) ; Ruller, Tomáš (advisor)
This dissertation focuses on va-rious strategies of presenting identity in contemporary art and the current trend of forming its mutations and mystifications. It deals with approaches such as when the name of an artist is absent from his performance, various forms of concealment, and the subsequent detection of an artist. The term “anonymity” is not examined as its mere literal definition, but it subsequently forks into other related meanings. The introduction points at our daily meetings with anonymity, the condensation of information stemming from all spheres including the sphere of visual arts. The subject of the dissertation is explored though the influence of media operating at a given time (time-specific) and a given place (site-specific): here and now. The text primarily deals with the phenomenon of being “anonymous”. While examining this topic, the period starting with the 1990s is discussed and supplemented by examples from the history of Slovak, Czech, and international visual art with extensions to literature, music and film. It closely focuses on the following four bi-polar forms of anonymity: celebrity / anonymous artist, art groups / collective exhibitions, street art / net art, signature art / untitled art. These terms are defined and organized into dictionary entries (containing both names of artists and definitions of terms). Comprising of over two hundred words, a hybrid thematic dictionary has been produced. It consists of already existing definitions taken from the Slovak and Czech mutations of Wikipedia which are quoted with consistence with each entry. The collaboration with Wikipedia is based on subsequent addition of the author’s definitions and thus supplements it with missing information from the sphere of visual arts. The text also deals with a current trend of renaming as a symbol of a hegemonic tool of power. The terms a.k.a., name, monogram, nick, and pseudonym are explored.
Dawn Patrol
Javorská, Veronika ; Janečková, Zuzana (referee) ; Ondrík, Jozef (advisor)
The bachelor project Dawn Patrol is a digital map of sea swimming locations in County Donegal, Ireland. I subjectively describe the essence of this phenomenon by using sounds, visuals and texts on my own dipping experiences.

Using the method of least squares in economic applications
JANEČKOVÁ, Zuzana
The aim of bachelor thesis is the description and the theoretical deduction of the method of least squares. In my work I attend to the deduction of least-squares with an exclusive focus on polynomial functions. This method is applied to the indicators of foreign trade, specifically turnover, exports, imports and balance. I gradually attend to polynomial of the first, the second to the m-th power. The objective of least-squares method assumes that the best-fit curve of a given type is the curve that has the minimal sum of the deviations squared.
Option of nursing care for incurables
JANEČKOVÁ, Zuzana
The paper subject covers Nurse Care Options for Incurables. A theoretical paper of the Diploma Thesis is something like a comprehensive summary of potential nurse care options for incurable people. Based on data gathered herein, I tried to create a schematic layout making the above options clearer. It forms the Annex No.1 to the paper. A practical part is prepared as a quality {--} quantity survey. I concentrated on the Czech Republic legislative and statistic data related to the subject as well as the informedness level of patients/clients and general nurse of nurse care options for incurable people. One of hypotheses related to the issue determined by me ( ``The nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic meet their needs{\crq}q) was confirmed; other two options ( ``All nurse care options provided to incurable people are available to them{\crq}q and ``Incurable people are informed of the nurse care options available to them in the frame of their illness{\crq}q) were disproved. I determined three essential objectives in my paper: 1. Identify nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic; 2. Determine the availability of the nurse care for incurable people in the Czech Republic; and 3. Find the informedness level of incurable people regarding potential use of nurse care suitable for them, that I met. My theoretical part defines nurse care options for incurable people in the Czech Republic; my quality and quantity survey resulted into a conclusion that the nurse care availability for incurable people in the Czech republic doesn not meet their needs, and the informedness level of incurable people of suitable nurse care availability to them is insufficient. The Diploma Thesis findings result into following recommendations: To continue in development of the palliative care and start to perceive it not only as care for oncology terminal ill people; aim to improvement in the informedness of incurable people of the nurse care options available to them (currently a social nurse, general nurse, as well also voluntary workes, in the future a case manager nurse {--} advisor), and promote development of community nursery in the Czech Republic.
Global climate change
Janečková, Zuzana ; Jeníček, Vladimír (advisor) ; Vondrušková, Barbora (referee)
The work analyzes the current scientific understanding of causes and consequences of the climate change. In order to remain objective, both the views of scientists, who believe that the climate change is caused by human activities and the scientists, who disagree with this theory, are presented. In the first part, the main natural mechanisms including possible causes of climate changes are presented. The second part describes the international cooperation, which was initiated in order to combat the climate change and the climate models, which predict the development of the climate in the 21st century, including the impacts on society. These models are based on the assumption, that human activities are the main cause of the climate change. The third part presents the opinions of the opponents of the "traditional" view of the climate change. These so called "sceptics" disagree with the theory, that mankind is responsible for the climate change and therefore disagree with the current way of fighting against the climate change.
