The possibility of using molecular markers to identify the commodities subject to CITES

This thesis is focused primarily on the possibilities of using molecular markers to identify the commodities subject to CITES. Illegal trade with these articles is common even in the Czech Republic. Overview the most used methods could facilitate the fight against this kind of crime. Molecular markers are ideal for the identification of species and other taxonomic units, because unlike the morphological identification does not require intact specimens. DNA can be extracted from highly processed and degraded products which are commonly found on the market.

Bergman's rule: contemporary perspective.

Bergman's rule is a well-known biogeographic generalizations more than 150 years old, but still popular. Its popularity in the field of recent research, however, reflected on its validity. The rule is often redefined, or entirely questioned. This thesis aims to evaluate contemporary research on Bergman's rule, to judge whether this theory is valid or not and to suggests further possibilities of research to prove so.

Export support from the EU Structural Funds

The first chapter discusses the EU Regional policy. The second chapter deals with practical implementation of Structural Funds support in the Czech Republic. Chapter 3 sums up tools used to support export from EU Structural Funds in the Czech Republic. Chapter 4 concentrates on recent state export support in the Czech Republic. The last chapter summarizes the results of my own research among aid beneficiaries from the Marketing programme.

Strukturální fondy a politiky Evropské unie

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na popis politik Evropské unie. Jedná se konkrétně o zemědělskou, regionální a sociální politiku jako tři významné oblasti pro rozvoj EU. Významným prvkem pro rozvoj jsou také strukturální fondy a Kohezní fond jako finanční mechanismy ve všech členských zemích. Práce je zaměřena na popis těchto politik a fondů na evropské úrovni i s ohledem na jejich implementaci v podmínkách ČR. Tato práce si tak klade za cíl ukázat změny, které nastaly ve srovnání období 2004 ? 2006 s novým obdobím 2007 ? 2013 na evropské i české úrovni.
