HIV and AIDS The object and purpose of this work is to map and summary of publicly available information about HIV and AIDS. Larger part of the work is focused on history, which surveys the breathtaking speed of the spread of HIV and AIDS worldwide. Statistics show, that people's awareness about HIV and AIDS is relatively low. Therefore I believe the information collected here will be able to use in the future to deepen students' knowledge in teaching natural history and biology.

HIV - the knowledge and awareness of students on the primary school and secondary school The subject of the thesis and aims is to determine the level of knowledge of pupils and students in primary and secondary schools from around Rakovník. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The first part summarizes all accessible knowledge about HIV / AIDS. There are also proces ed educational documents binding for different types of schools. A large part of the practical part is devoted to the results of a questionnaire survey among pupils and students. It also shows the course teacher observation. Subsequent discussion compares results of pupils and students from Rakovnicko with results of pupils included in other studies. Given the results are in the discussion highlighted preventive activities of organizations that are mentioned in the theoretical part.
