Detecting Presentation Attacks Using Face Spoofing
Homola, Tomáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Goldmann, Tomáš (advisor)
Face detection is one of the most important and widespread methods of verifying a person's identity. However, this method also raises concerns about privacy and security. It is important to be aware of the dangers it brings and constantly develop the necessary means to protect against them. This thesis aims to explain the issue of face spoofing, the threat that arises from a successful attacker's attempt at spoofing, and the detection of these spoofs using algorithms.
Java Applications Controlled over WWW
Homola, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal is to design and to implement a library for developing Java applications controlled over WWW. This library provides a virtual graphical user interface and it implements the network communication with a real remote graphical user interface. The remote graphical user interface is implemented as a Java applet. The proposed solution is based on the Remote Method Invocation (RMI) framework that provides the communication between the applet and the application running on the server.
Design of Horizontal Wood Band Saw
Homola, Tomáš ; Jelenčík, Branislav (referee) ; Rubínová, Dana (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is design of horizontal band saw and it deals with problems of existing machines on market. Main goal of work is to create effective design and solution of problematic parts, with emphasis on modernization of band saws, which ones processing raw tree trunks.
Positive displacement pump design
Homola, Tomáš ; Jandourek, Pavel (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on positive displacement pump design. At the beginning of the bachelor thesis is described basic division of hydrostatic pumps, basic calculation relations and characteristic of liquids. The basic calculation relations are: actual flow, torque, efficiency and power consumption. Furthermore, in the individual pump types are described principle function, characteristics, uses, advantages and disadvantages. At the end of the thesis is mentioned current research, which conversant analysis of the force Gerotor pumps, where the cycloidal transfer made from thermoplastic (POM).
Design of Alarm Clock
Homola, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Svatopluk (referee) ; Rajlich, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create alarm clock, which respect the functional, technical and aesthetic requirements of this device and attain an attractive design of this product. The final draft should be innovative, original and user attractive alarm clock.
Disc friction of centrifugal pumps
Homola, Tomáš ; Klas, Roman (referee) ; Rudolf, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis discusses the issue of the fluid flow instabilities due to rotating discs. It also deals with the calculation of axial force in centrifugal pumps and pressure distribution on cover and support disc of the impeller. Computational simulation of rotating disc is presented with the aim of capturing flow instabilities. Next computational simulation focuses on modelling a gap between the support disc (rotor) and the stator part of the pump for three different geometries, where axial force, pressure distribution on the support disc and loss torque are calculated for each of three models. Obtained results are then compared with the experiment in the conclusion
Structural and magnetic properties of Fe-oxide layers prepared by inkjet printing on Si-substrate
Zažímal, František ; Svoboda, T. ; Dzik, P. ; Homola, T. ; Jirásková, Yvonna
Magnetic films with two, four, six, and eight layers were prepared using 2D inkjet printing on the 333 K heated Si-substrates at ambient conditions. The microstructure, phase composition of layers, and magnetic studies were investigated using wide spectrum of experimental methods with the aim to find the optimal conditions for producing magnetic sensors by digital printing technology in the near future. As the magnetic compound, the hematite powder was chosen and its milling with Si-binder dissolved in dowanol using glass balls and vial to prevent contamination was done to prepared suspension appropriate for printing. It is shown that hematite transformed markedly into maghemite, thus the layers consisted of small amount hematite and dominant maghemite phases determining the magnetic properties. From the viewpoint of magnetic behavior, the highest saturation magnetization and the lowest coercivity was obtained at the sample with 8 layers.
