Hejna, Martin ; Lustig, Stanislav (advisor) ; Neumajer, Ondřej (referee)
TITLE: Unified visual identity of schools AUTHOR: Martin Hejna DEPARTMENT: Information technology and education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Stanislav Lustig ABSTRACT: Bachelor thesis "Unified visual identity of schools" deals with a visual presentation of elementary and secondary schools. Theoretical part explains a subject of the unified visual identity of schools and describes fundamental parts and phases of the creation. This section is written in the way it can serve as a manual for a right creation of the unified visual identity. On top of that, current situation of schools in this regard is thoroughly described and compared with international peers. Empiric part examines the existence of the unified visual identity at elementary and secondary schools in the Czech Republic, the extent of a use, knowledge of this topic and potential problems with its creation. Research investigation includes 7 individual deep-dive with directorate of elementary and secondary schools. In the appendix section, we attach suggested student project that can be done during IT lessons. KEYWORDS: visual, identity, corporate, logo, design

This part explores electronical materials of schools which can be a part of Corporate Identity and compares them with commercial entities. Another benefit is the draft of minimum graphic design manual for practical use in the school environment.
Global Constraints with Cost
Hejna, Martin ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Čepek, Ondřej (referee)
Planning problems are a very important application area for constraint satisfactory problems. Temporal networks are a common way of planning problems representation. In temporal network nodes represent time points and arcs represent time relations. A solution of temporal network means finding such parameters of nodes, that all constraints hold. A nested temporal network, as presented in this thesis, is a special case of the temporal network, which has a restricted structure to be still powerfull for practical use and simultaneously allows using of more effective solving methods. In this thesis nested temporal networks are defined and explored. A polynomial time method for global consistency of alternatives is presented and a proof of NP-completeness for global consistency is demonstrated. If more than one solution exist, it is suitable to have a method for comparing solutions. A common way to accomplish this is price. Usual task is to find solution with minimal price. In the thesis we use the Branch and Bound method with a new filtering algorithm, which exploites the special structure of nested temporal network.

Network status visualization
Hejna, Martin ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Beneš, Jiří (referee)
The purpose of this diploma thesis is to provide a complex overview for the network status visualization topic. The diploma thesis is structured into four parts. The first one is dedicated to the definition of the most important terms, together with the description of several visualization methods, network metrics and last but not least to the discussion of visualization risks and benefits. In the second part, an own visualization process is at first proposed and then the particular steps of this process are discussed. Easy to understand examples are applied through this part. In the third part, several method of data collection protocols and visualization tools are briefly described. The analyzed tools are graphic libraries, as well as standalone applications and Network Management Systems. The last part is dedicated to the analysis of the current visualization tools used on the VŠE network. A short analysis of the university's network is also made. According to this analysis, an own solution is proposed for a particular part of network.
Monitorování podnikových zdrojů
Hejna, Martin ; Pour, Jan (advisor) ; Málková, Helena (referee)
