Czechoslovak musical elite in the late eighties and early nineties of the 20th century
Matějíček, František ; Havel, Jan (advisor) ; Houda, Přemysl (referee)
At the turn of the eighties' and nineties' of the 20th century, correspondingly to the whole social scale, significant changes happened on the domestic music scene. The musical and the creative elite were confronted with the Anglo-American production, and were forced, in a number of cases, to come up with the alternative ways of expressing themselves under the new circumstances. The goal of this thesis is to compare and contrast the situation on the domestic scene during the period right before the November 1989 and the period to follow; based on the various testimonies of popular Czechoslovakian musicians. The research aims to collect the information regarding contemporary popularity of the Czechoslovakian modern music and authors from the eighties'. I'm trying to verify if the critique perspective of one part of the public experts on the allegiance of the musical elite and the ideology of the pre-November regime is justified or not. At the same time, the thesis follows the fortune of the music stars in relation to the changing social order and, in addition to it, establish the basis for the study of the further research in the field.
Analysis of the current development of downhill skiing technique with a focus on vertical movement
Benda, Radek ; Macas, Tomáš (advisor) ; Havel, Jan (referee)
Title: Analysis of the current development of downhill skiing technique with a focus on vertical movement. Objective: Creation of an overview study of downhill skiing and turning techniques on alpine skis, based on content analysis focused on the vertical movement of the skier's center of gravity. Methods: This work is conceived as a development-oriented overview study. It utilizes research methods and is based on content analysis. Within this study, open databases and specialized web browsers were explored for relevant literature. The parameter of focus was set as the vertical movement. Results: From the studied literature and professional articles, we have found that the vertical movement of the body's center of gravity currently does not hold the same significance in skiing technique as it did in the past. Although vertical movement is present in modern technique, it is primarily utilized, for example, when traversing uneven terrain to maintain contact with the snow surface. Additionally, it is important to emphasize that the development of skiing technique goes hand in hand with advancements in ski equipment. Therefore, progress in equipment contributes to progress in technique. Conclusions: This bachelor's thesis presents a comprehensive text in the form of a developmental study that focuses...
The Present State and Development Trends of Active Safety Elements.

First, he searches in the currently used solutions, followed by selection of appropriate accessories, a preliminary analytical calculation and stress analysis model. In the last part, there is made economic and weight balance.
Analysis of load and pressure to the outer and inner skis in alpine disciplines
Fuková, Miroslava ; Macas, Tomáš (advisor) ; Havel, Jan (referee)
Title: The analysis of force and pressure against inner and outer skis in alpine disciplines Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to outline a review study of inner and outer ski force analysis in alpine skiing Methods: This thesis is presented as a review study outsourcing via research method, analysis, and comparison method. The purpose is to search, synthesise, and extract existing knowledge on inner and outer ski force in alpine skiing. The pressure against skis has been defined as the main parametr. Results: We came to a conclusion that pressure against outer ski dominates over pressure against inner ski based on the sources used in this thesis. We found out that in most cases the outer ski was under bigger pressure, and in rare cases not so. Conclusion: The practical usage of this thesis is to improve reader's overview on ski techniques, and the importance of implementing outer ski force awareness into basic set of skills among young skiers. This skill is crucial from certain point in a skier career for future improvement of technique and faster management of tracks. As a follow-up of the research we advise to carry out an empirical in-field measurement of outer ski pressure and the angle of angulation, especially within young skiers. This research can be done by tensometric insoles with 3D...
Development of technique in downhill skiing with a focus on step and pedal technique
Bakaljar, Adrian ; Macas, Tomáš (advisor) ; Havel, Jan (referee)
Title: Development of technique in downhill skiing with a focus on step and pedal technique. Objectives: The aim of the work is to create a comprehensive overview study of alpine skiing technique and its development from step to pedal technique. This study will be an inspiring and practical source of information for ski instructors and teachers. Methods: In this work, we used the research method and the analysis method. We determined the movement of the skier's centre of gravity, cornering of the turn and pressure work as the tracking parameters. We used various sources by searching and studying professional publications in available databases and libraries. Results: We found that the technique of descending and turning on skis changed over time along with the change in ski equipment. The observed differences between the crotch a pedal technique show a great similarity between the two techniques. The fundamental difference in techniques was the movement of the skier's centre of gravity and the different degree of use of skiing skills. The step technique is based on the movement of the skier's central centre of gravity and dominates the edging skill, while the pedal technique is based on changing the load on the skis and dominates the work with pressure. Keywords: Alpine skiing, skiing technique,...
Diagnostika a opravy sedel vstřikovačů PD
HAVEL, Jan
This master's thesis deals with the topic of diagnostics and reparation of the unit of injector system PD. It focuses on the diagnostics of the most frequent malfunction of this system and on the reparation with a chosen method. The theoretical part describes the construction of the unit injector system and explained the principle of this injecting together with its use in different kinds of engines. At the end of the theoretical part, the system of attaching the unit pump-jet is described. The practical part of the thesis covers the diagnostics of malfunction and its reparation. It also explains how this malfunction is caused and how to proceed to fix it.
