The topic of graduation work "Nursery school as public service" is to find out and map how the sence from the framework educational programme "provision ofpre-school education according to the school educational act is a public service" was accepted by experts, pre-school pedagogues/teachers and also by parents whose children attend a nursery school. The theoretical part deals with explanation of terms such as service, public service, education as a public service. It also focuses on historical and current view on nursery school as a facility providing ecuation. In the research part the final work concentrates on analysis and comparison of views on explored formulation at particular groups ofrespondents.
