Human Impact on Velká Kotlina in Hrubý Jeseník

The main subject matter of this thesis is a research of the means of use of a state farm holding, specifically the holding of state farm Janovice, deposited in Opava Land Archives. This thesis is not a typical reconstruction of state farm management, but a survey dealing with ways of use of this specific source complex in environmental perspective (research of the relationship of man and nature in selected region). The bachelor thesis consists of three parts. The first part talks focuses on the origin and development of environmental history around the world and on Czech territory, the second one talks about the use of a state farm holding from theoretical point of view with special focus on forrest management (which types of documents may respond to which aspects of coexistence and reciprocal influencing of man and nature) and the third one shows three examples of the application of these documents to historical research of human impact on Velká kotlina in Hrubý Jeseník.
