UX research for digital products

Thesis deals with the UX research from the perspective of UX professionals. The main objective of this thesis is to determine the point of view these professionals on UX research. The first partial objective of this thesis is to identify problem areas and the causes of problems in the context of UX research. The second objective is to identify how the experts assess the impact of efforts carried out in connection with the UX. The third objective is to identify the benefits of conducting UX research. Methods for achieving these objectives are conducting qualitative and quantitative research in the form of interviews and a survey targeted at 164 UX professionals. The contribution of this thesis is capturing of the views and experiences of these professionals on issues, impact assessments and benefits of conducting UX research.
Influence of the modern IT/ICT on the enterprise communication

Nowadays communication is a key factor of success. There are more and more demands placed on it, especially for its speed, accuracy and quality. These three factors influence the direction of individuals as well as companies. Choosing the right communication channel is necessary for the best efficiency of communication. This choice is closely related to the type of message; different kinds of messages should use different communication channels. This thesis focuses on the overview of modern communication channels in companies. The channels such as Instant Messaging, e-mail, Task Managent along with classic meetings or phone will be described. Then the thesis will analyze the communication in one of the largest Czech computer stores and electronics, assess its effectiveness and propose recommendations for improvement.
A creation of a web design methodology with an emphasis on UX

This master thesis suggests a new design methodology used for creating web pages, with an emphasis on User Experience (UX). The thesis does not focus on specific web technol-ogies, but it rather concentrates on the process of preparation and design of websites. When applying such a process, the websites will not only meet clients business objectives, but it will also satisfy users requirements. The theoretical part of this thesis summarizes the information about User Experience De-sign, defining its processes, terms, tools, tasks and roles associated with it. The outline may serve the developer and the client as a guide when realizing a project or creating a demand for one. The main aim of the practical part is to introduce a new methodology for creating websites focusing mainly on the UX. The methodology is proposed by the author himself, based on his many years of experience in the field, and tested on a real project which is also present-ed in the practical part.
Post-processing and retouching of digital photography

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze todays possibilites of retouching the digital photographs. The thesis begins by briefly outlining the principle of capturing digital photography and image. After this part, there is a description of some of the applications allowing users to perform interference with their photographs. The RAW format is presented, including its advantages for repairing the most known errors in digital photography. The next part of the thesis is concerned with more detailed look at one of the specialized graphic editors -- Adobe Photoshop CS5, including the interpretation of its tools for the tone adjustments, selection creations, masks and retouching which are displayed in the practical examples in the next part.
