Evaluation of Target Shooting by Computer Vision
Implementation of a Social Housing Project within the Organisation
Gregorová, Jana ; Hejzlarová, Eva (advisor) ; Vejchodská, Eliška (referee)
The diploma thesis focuses on the innovative project, the Real Estate Office for Social Housing, and its implementation in a specific organization. The project is one of the possibilities of solving homelessness, so in the first part I look at this issue from the perspective of the social and housing sector, which is most linked to the project, as well as from a historical and legislative perspective. Then I concentrate on the specific type of support for people in housing need, which the project falls under. The aim of the thesis is to describe the process of implementation, or rather its sub-parts, of the Real Estate Office for Social Housing, and to explain its risks using the organisation theory and the theory of Street-Level Bureaucracy. In the research I have used a qualitative methodology, specifically a design of a case study research. The research was conducted through four semi-structured interviews with typical Street-Level Bureaucrats. In my research I used qualitative methodology, specifically a case study research design. The research was conducted using four semi-structured interviews with typical line managers. I introduce the main factors influencing implementation - the communication and cooperation, particularly across departments; the public relations of the organisation; the...

Kosovo - The Engagement of the International Community
Gregorová, Jana ; Šístek, František (advisor) ; Žíla, Ondřej (referee)
The Balkans is an area where the diversity of culture, religion and ethnicity is prominent. This diversity has predisposed the Balkan region for troubled periods throughout the history. The Balkan peninsula has always been considered a very unstable territory. The bachelor's thesis deals with the Kosovo conflict in the 90's of the 20th century that escalated in 1998, the course of the conflict and the reasons of the international intervention. The conflict between two ethnic groups - Albanians and Serbs living in Kosovo - culminated in war that was attended by ethnic cleansing on both sides and ended by bombardment in Serbia by NATO forces lead by USA from March to June in 1999. The thesis introduces background history of the Balkan region and presents briefly the reasons for the hatred between the two ethnic groups, then examines the developments in Kosovo in the late twentieth century when the conflict escalated. The International Community tried unsuccessfully to resolve the conflict by diplomatic means. The thesis focuses on the engagement of the International Community, notably the UN and NATO, in the conflict in Kosovo and attempts to clarify the reasons and character of these interventions. The aim of the thesis is to answer the question what led to the engagement of the International...
Meet the psychosocial needs of stoma patiens
GREGOROVÁ, Jana
For a person stoma means change both in the health as well as psychosocial area. It is necessary to perceive the person as a bio-psycho-socially-spiritual being requiring satisfaction of all his/her needs. Shortage of satisfaction of psychosocial needs can have very serious impacts on the overall health condition of the client. Stoma nurses and stoma clubs significantly contribute to satisfaction of needs. Stoma nurses deal not only with a preoperative, postoperative care for stoma suffering people, their education but they also help them to solve problems, which occurred in connection with stoma, answer their questions and are their consultants and support. Stoma nurses are a great benefit for stoma suffering people and their families. Stoma clubs are voluntary associations where people suffering stoma meet. Their task is to defend the interests and rights of stoma suffering people, organise meetings, special seminars, cultural events and stays. Versatile activity of the clubs is involved in client?s stoma adaptation, improvement of his/her life and making satisfaction of psychosocial needs easier. The target of the Diploma Thesis was to find out the most frequent psychosocial problems of stoma patients and whether stoma stresses more ileostoma patients than colostomy ones. Targets of the thesis were met. There were defined five hypotheses for the targets. First hypothesis dealt with the question, whether stoma patients suffer lack of satisfaction of psychosocial needs. Second hypothesis analysed, whether stoma disturbed partner life of the stoma patient. Third hypothesis analysed, whether stoma nurses bring benefit to a stoma patient and the fourth one, whether stoma clubs are beneficial for a stoma patient. These hypotheses were proved. The fifth hypothesis analysed, whether stoma stresses more ileostoma than colostomy patients. This hypothesis was not proved. To collect data I used the form of quantitative research using non-standardised questionnaire for people suffering ileostoma and colostomy. This Diploma Thesis shall point out the necessity of satisfaction of psychosocial needs of stoma patients in practice.
