Design of a camera slider for shooting time-lapse shots with a focus on the object
Koupil, Michael ; Franke, Jakub (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis deals with the constructional plan and implementation of the camera slider while using a 3D printer and Arduino platform. In theoretical part, there is an analysis of the commonly used camera sliders. Based on this analysis, several variations were prepared, and the most feasible constructional plan was chosen. In practical part, the aforementioned plan was worked out, safety calculations concerning selected nodes were made, as well as the mechanical drawing of the device. A prototype was then built and tested, whether it met all the requirements. The suggested device fulfils all the objectives of the Bachelor’s thesis.
Study of surface coating possibilities for 3D scanning purposes
Franke, Jakub ; Mendřický, Radomír (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with matte coatings for 3D scanning purposes. The coatings are made with spray gun which uses a vibrating membrane atomizer and air blow gun. A suspension of titanium dioxide and alcohol is used as a coating material. This thesis describes the effect of the spray gun process parameters on the deposited coatings. These include, for example type of the coating suspension or setup of the blow gun. Phase Doppler Anemometry was used to measure spray characteristics. Deposited coatings were measured with profilometer and scanned with 3D scanner to study their thickness and effect on the results of 3D reconstruction. The result of this work was the coating with thickness below 1 µm with good optical properties for 3D scanning purposes. Standard deviation of the captured point cloud from the reference plane was below 0.0011 mm.
Verification of the 3D laser scanner reliability
Franke, Jakub ; Zatočilová, Aneta (referee) ; Koutecký, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis will be to verificate skills of the 3D laser scanner Gocator 2330 produced by LMI Technologies. The main objectives of this work will be the identification of parameters that influence scanning with 3D laser scanner. Some of these factors will be further verified in the practical part of this thesis. The output will be a brief overwiew of the abilities of this scanner.
Animation of the behavior of flexible power transmission elements
Dolíhal, František ; Franke, Jakub (referee) ; Hartl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the creation of animations that are focused on belt transmissions and chain transmission. The content of the work is the selection of the displayed principles, the collection of corresponding theoretical equations, the transfer of these equations into the system of animation and the final demonstration of selected phenomena with help of output in form of educational animations. This thesis deals with the topics of kinematic and dynamic parameters of the transmission with slip and without slip, the course of forces along the neutral fiber of the flat or V-belt and the effect of polygon causing uneven speed of the chain transmission.
