Benchmarking of water utilities in Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis deals with comparative analysis of performance indicators of selected water supply companies in the country. The first part is a brief introduction to the issue of benchmarking for water companies. In the second part are basic and supplementary indicators for selected water companies, analysis of selected companies, including historical development. In this work are processed data from 2011 to 2014.

Analysis of Water Consupmtion in Campus of FAST VUT Brno

The subject of the diploma thesis is the analysis of water consumption in the area of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology. The main part of the thesis deals with the analysis of the measured data, which are recorded using a data logger located on the VF2 billing water meter. The processing of consumption curves is focused on individual working days, for days with or without instruction. From the results of the individual analyzes, maximum hourly limits are set for signaling of undesirable sampling states. In the end, the Smart Water Meters principle is introduced in the Czech Republic and abroad and a technical solution for the replacement of all billing water meters in the FAST area with new smart meters has been made.

Advanced OS Deployment in School Environment

Computers are becoming common part of education even in first years of elementary schools. Every computer requires software installation and regular updates. With increasing number of computers this would mean unacceptable growth of repeating of the same tasks. This work describes software deployment automation and its goal is to create environment allowing such automation for elementary schools.
