Potential of Inbound Tourism of Australians to the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis discusses inbound tourism of Australians to the Czech Republic and weighs its future potential. The theoretical part contains a situation analysis with a brief characterization of inbound tourism of the Czech Republic, marketing activities of the Czech Republic as a tourist destination and a thorough socioeconomic characterization of Australia and its outbound tourism. Furthermore, this paper evaluates what the Czech tourist destinations have to offer to the Australian market. The practical part covers the outcome of the primary survey of Australians´ travelling consumer behaviour and their perception of the Czech Republic.
The Position of Chile in International Tourism

This diploma thesis analyses the position of Chile in international tourism. The main purpose is to evaluate Chile´s status in international tourism based on the competitiveness of the country. At the begining of the thesis, the theory is defined. Then, the economy and political backgroud of Chile is specified, followed by the description of the preconditions for tourism development and its competitiveness in the tourism industry. Moreover, inbound, outbound and domestic tourism are analysed and followed by tourism impact on the economy of the country. Last chapter predicts future development of international arrivals to the country based on the regression analysis.
The history of marketing communication of the Grandhotel Pupp

The theme of the thesis titled The history of marketing communication of the Grandhotel Pupp is the explanation of the communication forms that have been used since the inception of the hotel and subsequent definition of the current forms of its marketing communication. The main objective of this thesis is to determine whether the marketing communication used by the company Grandhotel Pupp is efficient or not, to find out if it addresses a segment of young people and what forms of communication are mostly used by young people nowadays. The aim of the thesis is achieved by using a self made survey. The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to basic concepts of marketing communication, marketing mix and market segmentation. The practical part contains information about the company and its marketing mix, survey and its evaluation.
Offer of outgoing volunteer tourism in the Czech Republic

Bachelor thesis describes outgoing volunteer tourism in the Czech Republic through volunteer organizations that offer projects mainly for young people as a meaning leisure activity, but also organizations that are involved in rescue operations during various natural disasters and other emergencies. It then also describes types of projects as well as positive and negative impacts, benefits, and problems of international volunteering. Final survey identifies a profile of participants of these projects and on its basis the future development of volunteer tourism is estimated.
The position of Iceland in the international tourism market

The diploma thesis focuses on position of Iceland as an international tourism destination. The first chapter defines theoretical framework for the thesis, whereas the second chapter introduces essential information about the country and its macroeconomic environment. The third chapter deals with the topic of Icelandic tourism and its importance for the economy. The influence of the Eyjafjallajökull eruption in 2010 for tourism is taken into account. The following chapter number four is based on questionnaire about attractiveness of Iceland for Czech tourists. The final chapter sumps up trends of Iceland tourism and focuses on other possibilities of development in this field. In the end the forecast of Icelandic inbound tourism is calculated with a method called regression analysis.

My bachelor thesis deals with operations of the catering department of the spa hotel LD Palace in Frantiskovy Lazne. The thesis is divided into two separate parts. In the first section, there are explanations of necessary theoretical terms in relation to catering industry. The practical segment of the thesis details and analyzes operational processes of the catering department of LD Palace. With regards to results obtained through independent survey, structural changes were suggested that would create positive feedback of LD Palace's clients.
Potential of franchising in the Czech Republic’s wine industry

This Bachelor thesis explores franchising. Specifically, in the wine industry. The aim is to evaluate the potential of wine industry franchising in the Czech Republic. The first part characterises the main aspects of franchising. The subsequent chapters introduce the situation of franchising in the wine and brewing industry as well as compare them. Then the franchise concept of the company Víno Hruška s.r.o is presented. This example shows the possibility of the use of franchising in the wine industry. The last chapter is dedicated to the results of a questionnaire inquiry which was devoted to the opinions of respondents on the potential of franchising in the wine industry and their willingness to engage in such a concept.
Business plan: Bar or restaurant opening

The basis of this thesis is to analyze business conditions for opening a restaurant or bar on the Black Sea coast in Bulgaria, which would be oriented to the Slovak and Czech tourists. The main objective is to determine whether such a project was on the one hand for tourists received and on the other hand for the entrepreneur financially attractive. Therefore, after the summarization of all the collected information, it is necessary to decide for a particular variant of a business plan that is actually feasible. As a part of this work some other suggestions of other business opportunities were added, supposed to widen the business portfolio and an active business time during the year.
Comparison of Organized and Unorganized Tourism of Czech Residents to the United States of America

This diploma thesis deals with tourism of Czech residents do the United States of America and is focused on comparison of organized and unorganized tourism to this destination. The first part including the first and second chapter defines terms used in the diploma thesis and summarizes main attractions of the United States of America which are suitable for incoming tourism. Possibilities of organized and unorganized tourism -- tourism services and package tours available on the Czech market -- are analyzed in the second part of the thesis (the third and fourth chapter). The last part of the thesis summarizes results of a research which was focused on interest and preferences of different segments of Czech residents regarding organized and unorganized tourism to the United States of America.
New hospitality marketing concepts

The thesis deals with new hospitality marketing concepts and presents some interesting concepts created in the last decade. The aim of this thesis is to analyze concepts, evaluate demand among potential customers for new concepts and design unique hospitality marketing concept. The theoretical part deals with the marketing definition and clarification of what marketing includes. In the analytical part, there are new hospitality marketing concepts described in general, and then the concepts for selected segment -- parents with children. For the purpose of this thesis was created a questionnaire, which examines the demand for new concepts and customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the existing hospitality concepts. Results are presented in a separate chapter. The thesis concludes with a new design concept, its description, competitive analysis and marketing mix.
