Fingerprints Generator

Algorithms for fingerprints recognition are already known for long time and there is also an effort for their best optimization. This master's thesis is dealing with an opposite approach, where the fingerprints are not being recognized, but are generated on the minutiae position basis. Such algorithm is then free of the minutiae detection from image and enhancements of fingerprints. Results of this work are the synthetic images generated according to few given parameters, especially minutiae.
Sustainable development of tourism in Slovenia

The final thesis deals with the concept of sustainable tourism development and its application in Slovenia. The aim of the thesis is an evaluation of the current tourism and sustainable development in this country. The first chapter tries to explain the sustainable development in general, including its assumptions and indicators. The second chapter provides the general and economic characteristic of Slovenia. It describes attractiveness of tourism, the infrastructure, incoming and domestic tourism. The third part is focused on sustainable development of tourism and its form in Slovenia. In the last part is evaluated the questionnaire survey and also contains an interview with the Chief of the foreign representation of the Slovenian Tourist Board in Prague. Finally, was made evaluation and recommendations.
Sustainable development of tourism in the protected landscape area Iron Mountains

The thesis deals with the issue of sustainable tourism development in protected landscape area of the Iron Mountains. The main objective is to evaluate the current status and potential of the region on issues of sustainable tourism development, sustainable forms of tourism and evaluate conservation in the PLA Iron Mountain. The theoretical part is devoted to sustainable development, sustainable development of tourism and the area of the Iron Mountains. The practical part is to map the nature and landscape protection in the PLA Iron Mountain with regard to small-scale protected areas and analyze friendly forms of tourism. Followed by evaluation of the awareness of sustainable development of the territory by questionnaire from the perspective of local public administration in tourism, residents PLA and business owners. Last theoretical part is the SWOT analysis and recommendations for the future.
The current state and prospects for sustainable development of tourism in Slovakia.

Tourism contributes to the prosperity of destinations by bringing financial resources, new jobs, a higher level of services and infrastructure development. However, if tourism does not develop sustainably, it is accompanied by negative factors, as well. Especially, negative impacts on the environment, such as: water and soil contamination, increased noise and overcrowded destination during the high season. As a response to the worsening state of the environment and possible irreversible changes caused by irresponsible human behavior, the idea of sustainable development is becoming more important. The theoretical part describes tourism in the Slovak Republic and highlights plans for sustainable tourism development. In the practical part, the results of the questionnaire, related to the awareness of sustainable tourism in the Slovak Republic, are evaluated. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current situation in the field of sustainable tourism and to make suggestions for its future development.

Sustainable development of tourism in Cyprus

The aim of this final thesis is the evaluation of the current situation in the area of sustainable development of tourism in Cyprus. The thesis is structured into several chapters. First of them describes the sustainable development in general, it presents beside other things the forms of so called gentle tourism and the principles and pillars it is based on. The second chapter describes the countrys geography, history, economical situation, environment and infrastructure. Another part presents Cyprus as a destination of tourism, with its attractiveness and differences related to the geopolitical situation. It also describes the incoming and domestic tourism. The last chapter analyses the permanent sustainability of tourism development in Cyprus. It contains also the final evaluation of the current situation based on the use of relevant indicators of sustainable development of tourism and the use of the created SWOT analysis.
Sustainable tourism development and environmental friendly tourism in the PLA Křivoklátsko

The work concerned with the sustainable development of tourism and its friendly forms. The issue is applied to the example of the protected area Křivoklátsko. The aim of Diploma Thesis is to evaluate the current status and potential of sustainable tourism development, including mapping the availability of sustainable forms of tourism within the protected area Křivoklátsko and outline prospects, potential and opportunities for further development. The theoretical part defines the concept of sustainable development, definition, indicators and principles on which it is based issues in general as well as in relation to tourism. In the practical part the region as a tourism destination: the attractiveness of the area, živostní environment, material and technical base, sound forms of tourism and development potential. Part of the work is the analysis of the potential for sustainable tourism development of the protected landscape area Křivoklátsko made on the basis of survey among entrepreneurs in tourism, tourists, residents and county public administration bodies. The overall assessment of the status and potential of sustainable tourism development in the region is used and SWOT analysis.
