The possibilities of integrated teaching of geography and musical appreciation

Thesis opens up the new topic - possibilities of integrated teaching of geography and musical appreciation. The issue is soluted in two parts. The first one is the research of literature and resources, and summarizes the theoretical assumptions for the teaching and past experience with integrated teaching. Specifically, this section deals with integrated education in general, integrated education in the Czech Republic in the field of sciences and aesthetics theory. It further process teaching methods suitable for integrated teaching of music appreciation and geography. The second part is a specific finding and suggesting the way of teaching it. From the perspective of the organization of teaching is this part divided into three sections: the integration of music education in the geography lessons, the integration of geography into music lessons and special integrated teaching geography and music appreciation.
