Activities supporting well-being of university teachers

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of well-being and well-being of university teachers. This topic is still not as common and popular in the Czech Republic as it is in the USA, for example. After distance learning in Czech schools, more and more people started talking and writing about the well-being of pupils and students, but teachers, especially university ones, are still forgotten. The aim of this thesis is to verify the functionality of evidence-based activities for university teachers that have a positive effect on their well-being. The theoretical part deals with health, well-being and factors influencing well-being. It also deals with the topic of quality of life. Finally, the theoretical part deals with selected problems of the teaching profession, both in general and with a direct focus on university teachers, whose well-being may be affected negatively. The practical part deals with mixed methods design, which aimed to determine the functionality of selected activities. The first part presents the research process, research sample, questionnaire survey and individual selected activities that were included in the research.
